The Holy Qor-aan 002:176
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اشۡتَرَوُا الضَّلٰلَةَ بِالۡهُدٰى وَالۡعَذَابَ بِالۡمَغۡفِرَةِ ۚ فَمَآ اَصۡبَرَهُمۡ عَلَى النَّارِ
Olaa-ekul-la-zee-nush-ta-ra-woo
Dza-laa-la-ta-bil-ho-daa
Wul-azaa-ba-bil-mugh-fay-ra-tay
Fa-maa-us-ba-ra-hoom-aa-lun-naa-r.
They all are those who traded
The total loss with the price of real Guidance
And the torment with the price of forgiveness.
So what an insistence they have to go on Fire.
- اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — Olaa-eka..(ul) — They all (= Acts; facts, persons or things)
- ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na(ush) — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Ref to the ‘disbelievers’)
- اشۡتَرَوُا — Sh-ta-ra-woo — Traded (= Bartered; bought; exchanged; paid price for; preferred; purchased; sold; took; trafficked)
- الضَّلٰلَةَ — Dza-laa-la-ta — The total loss (= n., Error; mistake. Fallen to error; gone astray; strayed)
- بِ — B…(il) — With (= The Arabic word بِ literally means ‘with’. Here the word has also been used to express ‘for the price of‘)
- الۡهُدٰٓى — Ho-daa — The guidance (= n., Direction towards the best way, correct course, good lines, proper path or right road. Perfect Guidance. The total knowledge about what is appropriate)
- وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- الۡعَذَابَ — Aa-zaa-ba — The torment (= Appropriate, due and fair agony, chastisement, doom, penalty, punishment; recompense; torture or scourge)
- بِ — B…(il) — With (= The Arabic word بِ literally means ‘with’. Here the word has also been used to express ‘for the price of‘)
- الۡمَغۡفِرَةِ — Mugh-fay-ra-tay — orgiveness (= Excusing; pardon; looking the other way; protection)
- فَ — Fa — So (= After all this; at the end; consequently; hence; then; thus; thereafter; therefore)
- مَا — Maa — What (= All that; how much; whatever; whatsoever; which)
- اَصۡبَرَ — Us-ba-ra — An insistence (= Consistency; constancy; continuity; fortitude; patience; endurance; perseverance; persistence; steadfastness; regularity; repetitiveness with no failing, falling, flailing or faltering; unwavering. How audacious, daring, determined, foolhardy and steadfastly they persevere to face, go in or reach fire)
- ھُمۡ — Hoom — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid people)
- عَلَى — Aa-la…(un) — On (= Against; for; over; upon. A/t/a ‘to challenge or reach’)
- النَّارِ — Naa-r(ay) — The Fire (= Rapid sustained chemical reaction releasing heat and light)
