The Holy Qor-aan 002:011

فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّرَضٌۙ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مَرَضًا ۚ وَّلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ ۙ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَكۡذِبُوۡنَ○
Fee-qo-loo-bay-him-ma-ra-dzoon Fa-zaa-da-ho-mool-laa-ho-mara-dzaa Wa-la-hoom-azaa-boon-alee-moon Bay-maa-kaa-noo-yuk-ze-boon.
In their hearts is a sickness. So Allah increased them in the sickness. And for them is a painful punishment Because they have been lying.
- فِىۡ — Fee – In (= Contained in or amidst a duration, time, place, period, thing or situation; inside. regarding; relative to)
- قُلُوۡب — Qo-loo-bay — Hearts (= Mind. Souls. Ability to think, choose, decide and act in appropriate manner both physically and spiritually)
- هِمۡ — Him — Their (= pro., pl, .m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid people)
- مَّرَضٌ — Ma-ra-dzoon — Sickness (= Disease, illness or infirmity of doubt or suspicion)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; as a result; so; thereafter; therefore; yet)
- زَادَ –Zaa-da — Increased (= Added to; multiplied)
- هُمُ — Ho-mo…(ol) — Them (= pro., pl, .m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid people)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- مَرَضًا — Mara-dza-(nw) — Sickness (= Disease, illness or infirmity of doubt or suspicion)
The Warning about Punishment in next five words is given for misdeeds named in verses 002:011, 002:175, 003:078, 003:092, 003:178, 004:162, 004:174, 005:037, 064:006, etc.
- وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also; but; additionally; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- لَ — La For (= For any benefit, item, person, purpose, reason or thing)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid people)
- عَذَابٌ — Azaa-boon — Punishment (= Appropriate, due and fair agony, chastisement, doom, penalty, recompense, torment, torture or scourge)
- اَلِيۡمٌ — Alee-moo…(nb) — Painful (= adj., Grievous; painful; severe; stern, woeful)
- بِمَا — Bay-maa — Because (= Combination of two words. بِ means ‘with’ and مَاۤ means ‘all that, whatever, whatsoever or whenever.’ The combination means ‘because of; due to; on account of; for the reason; with what)
- كَانُوۡا — Kaa-noo — Have been (= Conveys continuation; ‘all those’ men in the 3rd person ‘used to’. This verb and its 14 grammatical variations indicate an act’s continuity from the past to the present and leading into the future – such as ‘continued doing’ or ‘went on doing’)
- يَكۡذِبُوۡنَ — Yuk-ze-boon — They lying (= Denying; falsifying; misstating; rejecting. Also, acting hypocritically)
