The Holy Qor-an 002:033

قَالُوۡا سُبۡحٰنَكَ لَا عِلۡمَ لَنَآ اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمۡتَنَا ؕ اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَلِيۡمُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ
Qaa-loo-soob-haa-na-ka Laa-ilma-la-naa-il-laa-maa-ul-lum-ta-naa In-na-ka-un-tul-alee-mool-ha-kee-m.
They (the angels) said, “Glory to You. We have no knowledge except what you taught us. Indeed You and Only You are The All-Knowing, The Wisest.
- قَا لُوۡا — Qaa-loo — They said (= v., past t., pl., m; 3rd person. Here the angels announced, answered, broadcast, conveyed, explained, informed, replied, responded, stated, submitted or told)
- سُبۡحٰنَ — Soob-haa-na — Glory (= Glory to You; Holy; beyond blemish; exalted far above anything unholy; You be glorified)
- كَ — Ka — You (= pro. s., m., 2nd person. Ref is to the Almighty God)
- لَا — Laa — No, not (= Absolute denial; never; not at all; total negation)
- عِلۡمَ — Il-ma — Knowledge (= n., Awareness; information)
- لَ — La — For ( = For the benefit, purpose or reason; on account of)
- نَآ — Naa — Us (= pro., pl., m & f., Us all. Angels refer to themselves)
- اِلَّا — Il-laa — Except (= Apart from; besides; excluding; save; unless)
- مَا — Maa — All that (= 1. What; whatever; whatsoever. 2. Any time; at such time; when; whenever)
- عَلَّمۡ — Ul-lum — Taught (= v., Added to knowledge; coached; educated; informed; made aware; made to learn; trained; tutored) gave education; instructed awareness; trained; tutored; made them learn)
- تَ — Ta — You (= pro. s., m., 2nd person. Ref is to the Almighty God)
- نَآ — Naa — Us (= pro., pl., m & f., Us all. Angels refer to themselves)
- اِنَّ — Inna — Indeed * (= Absolutely; certainly; doubtlessly; earnestly; definitely; in all seriousness; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)
- كَ — Ka — You * (= pro. s., m., 2nd person. Ref is to the Almighty God)
- اَنۡتَ — Un-ta…(ul) — You * (= pro. s., m., 2nd person. Ref is to the Almighty God. Two pronouns have come one after the other and referred to the same addressee thus laying extreme emphasis – See Commentary “2 pronoun or 1 pro and 1 verb mean ...”)
- الۡعَلِيۡمُ — A-lee-mo..(ol) — All-Knowing (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him Knows. Also: Informed to the maximum. The One with total knowledge and nothing out of sight. Knows all. Most Knowledgeable. Well-Acquainted with and Well-Aware of. See Note 001:001)
- ٱلۡحَكِيمُ Ha-kee-m — The Wisest (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him is Wise. Also: All-Wise. Extremely shrewd. Full of wisdom. None is wiser than Him. Who is Right always in what He does. See Note 001:001)
