The Holy Qor-aan 002:041
يٰبَنِىۡٓ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتِىَ الَّتِىۡٓ اَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَاَوۡفُوۡا بِعَهۡدِىۡٓ اُوۡفِ بِعَهۡدِكُمۡۚ وَاِيَّاىَ فَارۡهَبُوۡنِ
Yaa-bani-is-raa-ee-la Uz-ko-roo-nae-ma-tay-yul-la-tee-un-um-to-alai-koom Wa-auo-foo-bay-auh-dee Oo-fay-bay-auh-day-koom Wa-ee-yaa-ya-fur-ha-boo-n.
Listen! all children of the entire Israel. Remember My blessings that I conferred upon you. And fulfill your covenant with Me. I will fulfill My covenant with you. And Only Me you should fear.
- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; pay attention; O!)
- بَنِىۡٓ — Ba-nee –All children (= Followers; nation; tribes. progeny; off-springs; future generations. The vowel ‘mudd’ refers to all)
- اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ — Is-raa-ee-l(uz) — Israel (= The vowel ‘mudd’ refers to ‘All’ tribes or descendants from the 12 sons of Prophet Jacob)
- اذۡكُرُوۡا — Uz-ko-roo — Remember (= v., pl., 1. Attend to; bear in mind; call to mind; keep in mind; pay attention. 2. Beseech; pray; praise. 3. Ponder contemplate; reflect over; recall; think of)
- نِعۡمَتِ — Nae-ma-tay — The blessings (= n., Abundant goodness; bounties; comforts; delights; favors; good things; goodness; graces; indulgences in worldly goods, joys, peace, prosperity, special favors and things)
- ىَ — Ya..(ul) — My (= s., m & f., 1st person. Me. Refers to The Almighty God)
- ٱلَّتِى — Ul-la-tee — That (= s., f., 3rd person. Aforesaid category of blessings)
- اَنۡعَمۡتُ — Un-um-to — I conferred (= v., Blessed and bestowed bounties. Conferred comforts. Delivered delights. Abundantly gave, graced, granted or indulged with worldly goods, joys, peace, prosperity, special favors and things)
- عَلَيۡ — Alai — Upon (= Above; against; for; on; on top of; over)
- کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., Connects words, phrases or clauses; also)
- اَوۡفُوۡا — Auo-foo — Fulfill (= Be true and faithful; complete; fill; execute completely, fully and totally; honor; keep)
- بِ — Bay — With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
- عَهۡدِ — Auh-d…(ee) — Covenant (= Assurance; obligation; pledge; promise; solemn affirmation; undertaking)
- ىۡٓ — Ee — Me (= s., m & f., 1st person. Refers here to The Almighty God)
- اُوۡفِ — Oo-fay — I will fulfill (= Complete; fill; fully execute; honor; keep. See above)
- بِ — Bay — With (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’)
- عَهۡدِ — Auh-day — Covenant (= Assurance; obligation; pledge; promise. See عَهۡدِ above)
