The Holy Qor-aan 002:060
فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا قَوۡلاً غَيۡرَ الَّذِىۡ قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ فَاَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا رِجۡزًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡسُقُوۡنَ
Fa-bud-da-lul-la-zee-na-za-la-moo
Qao-lun-ghai-rul-la-zee-qee-la-la-hoom
Fa-un-zul-naa-alul-la-zee-na-za-la-moo
Rij-zun-me-nus-sa-maa-aiy-bay-maa-kaa-no-yuf-so-qoo-n.
Then those who acted badly changed
A word other than what was said to them.
So We sent down on those who wronged
A punishment from the sky due to what they used to disobey.

- قَوۡلاً — Qao-lun — A word (= Commandment; announcement; broadcast; call; reply declaration; direction; information; instruction; order; message; saying; statement; specification; Prohibition)
- غَيۡرَ — Ghai-r…(ul) — Other than (= Besides; out of)
- الَّذِىۡ — La-zee — That (= s., m, 3rd person article, thing or person)
- قِيۡلَ — Qee-la — Said (= v., past., Announced; broadcast; called; commanded; conveyed; declared; directed; explained; instructed; informed; mandated; ordered; replied; responded; specified; spoken; stated; submitted; told; prohibited)
- لَ — La — To / For (= For the benefit, purpose or reason; relative to)
- ھُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the wrong-doers)
- فَ — Fa — So (= Consequently; as a result; then; thereafter; therefore)
- اَنۡزَلۡ — Un-zul — Lowered (= v., Inspired; landed; let loose, poured or sent down on people on earth; released; revealed; showered)
- نَآ — Naa — We (= pro, pl., 1st person. Us. Used with God’s name it reflects the authoritative way a higher-up talks to a subordinates)
- عَلَى — Ala … (ul) — On (= Above; against; for; on top of; over; upon)
- ٱلَّذِينَ — La-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m., 3rd person articles, thing or persons)
- ظَلَمُوۡا — Zaa-la-moo — Wronged (= v., past. Acted wickedly; committed crimes; did evil; did injustice; harmed; shorted; transgressed; treated people unjustly and improperly; violated; wicked)
- رِجۡزًا — Rij-zun … (m) — Punishment (= Chastisement; extreme anger; penalty; pestilence; plague; requital; scourge; torment; wrath)
- مِّنَ — Me-n..(us) — From (= Among, from or out of a class, category or count. Among, from or out of several persons or things)
- السَّمَآءِ — Sa-maa-aiy — The sky (= Cloud; all above ground or earth; The Heaven)
- بِمَا — Bay-maa — Due to what (= Combination of two words. بِ means ‘with’ and مَاۤ means all that, whatever, whatsoever, whenever. The combination ‘with that’ means ‘because of what; on account of that; for the reason; due to what; since’)
- كَانُوۡا — Kaa-noo — They used to (= v., 3rd person. The verb indicates an action’s continuity from the past to the present and into the future like continuing ‘had been’, ‘used to ‘ or ‘went on doing’)
- يَفۡسُقُوۡنَ — Yuf-so-qoo-n — Disobey (= 1. Commit misdeed; fouled directions; transgressed; rebelled; violated Commandments and God’s Laws. 2. Were evildoers, rebels, transgressors, violators and wicked people)
