The Holy Qor-aan 002:079
وَ مِنۡهُمۡ اُمِّيُّوۡنَ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ الۡكِتٰبَ اِلَّاۤ اَمَانِىَّ وَاِنۡ هُمۡ اِلَّا يَظُنُّوۡنَ
Wa-min-hoom-oom-me-yoo-na-laa-yau-la-moo-nul-kay-taa-ba-il-laa-amaa-nee-ya- wa-in-hoom-il-laa-ya-zoon-noo-n.
And among them are the ignorant. They do not know the Book except mere wishes. And most certainly they do little except guessing.

- مِنۡ — Min — Among (= From the class, category, count, kind, persons or out of)
- ھُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the persons stated in the previous verse)
- اُمِّيُّوۡنَ — Oom-me-yoo-na — Ignorant (= Illiterate; uncouth; uneducated; unknowing; unlettered; unschooled)
- لَا — Laa — Do not (= Absolute denial; never; no; not at all; total negation)
- يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ — Yau-la-moo-na(ul) — Know (= Knowingly; have the knowledge; are aware of it; know the consequence of their calumny and enormity)
- الۡكِتٰبَ — Ul-kay-ta-ba — The Book (= 1. The Divine Directive of Commandments and Prohibitions. The Holy Scripture. The Testament that holds good and is operative eternally. The Decreed part of a religion. The Holy Direction of Divine Commands, Rules and Regulations. The Spiritual Code codifying the rules of universal application. 2. The Collection of mandated, ordered, prescribed, preserved, recorded or written Do’s and Don’ts. 3. Authentic penned down material in black & white)
- اِلَّا — Il-laa — Except (= Apart from; besides; excluding; save; unless)
- اَمَانِىَّ — Amaa-nee-ya — Mere wishes (= Wants; whims; whatever one pleases; wishful thoughts; false beliefs, desires or notions; lies; vague fancies. Also, crammed up things one likes)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اِنۡ — In– Most certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed in all seriousness; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)
- ھُمۡ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to the persons stated in the previous verse)
- اِلَّا — Il-laa — Except (= Apart from; besides; excluding; save; unless)
- يَظُنُّوۡنَ — Ya-zoon-noo-n — Guessing (= Conjecturing; guesstimating)
