* Note 002:097a. Some translators narrowed down the scope of this verse by translating the word النَّاسِ (the people) as only those of the “Mankind … who do not believe in Resurrection – Majus, pagans and idolaters.” Others by translating it as ‘all of the mankind’ left the original text’s indicated intent intact with a much larger and broader scope.
** Note 002:097b. Different translations of وَ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَشۡرَكُوۡا (= and among the idolaters) have joined this clause differently – to the statement that came immediately before it, OR to the statement that came immediately after it as the punctuation in the original text suggests, OR to both the statements that have come before it as well as after it.
