The Holy Qor-aan 002:104
وَلَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ اٰمَنُوۡا وَاتَّقَوۡا لَمَثُوۡبَةٌ مِّنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰهِ خَيۡرٌ ؕ لَوۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ
Wa-lao-un-na-hoom-aa-ma-noo-wut-ta-qao-la-ma-thoo-ba-toom Min-in-dil-laa-hay-khair-lao-kaa-noo-yau-la-moo-n.
And if they had believed and done the duty, the reward From Allah was certainly the best – if only they had known.
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- لَوۡ — Lao– If (= If the situation arises; in case; would it be that)
- اَنَّ — Un-na — Definitely (= Absolutely; certainly; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; in all seriousness; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to those who taught and learnt magic)
- اٰمَنُوۡا — Aa-ma-noo — They believed (= v., past, pl. Had totally and wholeheartedly believed in the Holy Qor-aan, Islaam and are Moslems. 2. Entered, embraced and kept the Faith. 3. Admitted, affirmed, approved, concurred, confirmed, corroborated, evidenced, testified and witnessed as the Faithful)
- وَ — Wa…(ut) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اتَّقَوۡا — Ta-qao — Done the duty (= v., Avoided angering Allah. Guarded against evil. Kept from evil. Were pious and righteous. See The Righteous)
- لَ — La Certainly — (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed)
- مَثُوۡبَةٌ — Ma-thoo-ba-toon — Reward (= Prize; trophy; receipt; recognition; recompense)
- مِّنۡ — Min — Among (= From the class, category, count, kind, persons or out of)
in all seriousness; in all sincerity; positively; really) - عِنۡدَ — In-d…(il) — From (= From the presence or stock or will)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- خَيۡرٌ — Khai-r — Best (= Apex; good; noblest; the top. Glad tiding. Good news Appreciable, happy, joyous or pleasant. Comparatively superior. Greater, higher and more value. Far better. To get better soon; holding prospects of an improved prize)
- لَوۡ — Lao — If (= If the situation arises; in case; would it be that)
- كَانُوۡا — Kaa-noo — They had (= v., Conveys continuation from the past to the present and leading into the future)
- يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ — Yau-la-moo-n — Known (= v., pl., Have the information and knowledge; are aware; know the consequence of their calumny and enormity; recognize. Also knowingly)
