The Holy Qor-aan 002:109
اَمۡ تُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ تَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا رَسُوۡلَـكُمۡ كَمَا سُٮِٕلَ مُوۡسٰى مِنۡ قَبۡلُؕ وَمَنۡ يَّتَبَدَّلِ الۡکُفۡرَ بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ السَّبِيۡلِ
Um-to-ree-doo-na-un-tus-aloo-ra-soo-la-koom-ka-maa-so-aiy-la-moo-sa-min-qub-lo–wa-mun-ya-ta-bud-da-lil-koof-ra-bil-ee-maa-nay-fa-qud-dzul-la-sa-waa-us-sa-bee-l.
Do you intend to ask your messenger the way Moses was asked since before? And whoso exchanges the Disbelief with the Belief has undoubtedly gone astray in a big way.
- اَمۡ — Um — Do (= Question mark like Are, Can, Have, Shell or Will?)
- تُرِيۡدُوۡنَ — To-ree-doo-na — You intend (= v., Aspire; desire; like; love; want; will; wish)
اَنۡ — Un — That (= Since; so that; that) - تَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا — Tus-aloo — You ask (= v., Demand; petition; put questions to; question unduly; require; requisition)
- رَسُوۡلَ — Ra-soo-la — The Prophet (= s., Apostle; God’s messenger. The Great Prophet)
- کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. The Holy Qor-aan states this way when addressing both men and women jointly )
- کَمَا — Ka-ma — The way (= Combination of two words. The first word is كَ that means ‘as if it were; like; resembling; similar to’. The second word is مَا that means ‘all that, what, whatever, whatsoever.’ The combination کَمَا means ‘as if it were; like or resembling in the fashion, line, manner, method or style; identical to; similar to)
- سُٮِٕلَ — So-aiy-la — Was asked (= v., pass., Demanded; petitioned; questioned; required; requisitioned)
- مُوۡسٰى — Moo-sa — Moses (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah)
- مِنۡ — Min — Since (= From the time)
- قَبۡلُ — Qub-lo — Before (= Aforetime; ahead of; antecedent; earlier than; former time; older times; occurred or passed in prior period; previously; prior to; Moses was questioned of old)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- مَنۡ — Mun — Whoever (= Anyone; who; whatever; whom; whomever)
- يَّتَبَدَّلِ — Ya-ta-bud-da — Exchanges (= v., Adopts; barters; changes; chooses in place for; takes one thing in lieu of another)
- لِلۡ — L…(il) — For (= Concerning. Regarding. Relative to. With regard to. With the benefit, intent, purpose, reason or object of)
- الۡکُفۡرَ — Koof-ra — Disbelief (= n., 1. Blasphemy; denial; faithlessness; rebellion; thanklessness; unbelief; ungratefulness. 2. Refusal or rejection of faith or belief in Allah, the Holy Qor-aan & Islaam to become Moslem. 3. Being heretic, infidel, ingrate, non-believer, resistor, thankless or ungrateful to God. 4. Failure to apply, appreciate, use and utilize God’s gifts including abilities, blessings, capabilities capacities, opportunities and talents endowed)
- بِ — B…(il) — With / For (= This word in Arabic literally means ‘with’ but here ‘for’ is more appropriate for usage in English)
- الۡاِيۡمَانِ — Ee-maa-nay — Belief (= Behest of Faith; faith; total confidence; trust)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; as a result; so; thereafter; therefore; yet
After all this; at the end of; in conclusion) - قَدۡ — Qud — Undoubtedly (= Lays emphasis. Absolutely; categorically; certainly;
definitely, doubtlessly; positively; surely; specially; specifically; verily; without a doubt; for sure) - ضَلَّ — Dzul-la — Gone astray (= Fell astray; lost; mislead; strayed away)
- سَوَآءَ — Sa-waa-us — Very big (= Bad; cruel; dreadful; extremely bad, evil and poor; evil; grievous; horrible; repulsive; severe; terrible; wrong; unacceptable; unpleasant; worst kind; worst possible)
- السَّبِيۡلِ — Sa-bee-l — Way (= Appropriate, correct, proper, right or straight course, direction, line, path, road, route, way. Highway)
