The Holy Qor-aan 002:117
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ وَلَدًا ۙ سُبۡحٰنَهٗ ؕ بَل لَّهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ كُلٌّ لَّهٗ قَانِتُوۡنَ
Wa-qaa-loot-ta-kha-zul-laa-ho-wa-la-dun–soob-haa-na-hoo–bul-la-hoo-maa-fis-sa-maa-waa-tay-wul-urdz–kool-loon-la-hoo-qaa-nay-too-n.
And they said that Allah has taken a son. All glory to Him. The fact is that whatever is in heavens and earth is for (= belongs to) Him. They all are Subservient to Him.
- وَ —Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- قَالُوا — Qaa-loo..(t) — They said (= v., past., pl., m; 3rd person. Alleged; announced; told; argued; asserted; attributed; claimed; contended; stated contested; conveyed; declared; informed; insisted)
- اتَّخَذَ — Ta-kha-za..(ul) — Has taken (= v., past., Begot, caught, chose, got, grabbed, picked, received or seized a son or child. Begotten)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- وَلَدًا — Wa-la-dun — Son ( = Boy; male child; off-spring)
- سُبۡحٰنَ — Soob-haa-na — All glory to (= Glorified. Holy. Beyond blemish. Exalted far above anything they associates to Him. Also, ‘Allah Forbid’)
- هٗ — Hoo — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to The Almighty Allah’)
- بَل — Bul…(l) — The fact is (= But; however; indeed; instead; in truth; nay; of course; on the contrary; nevertheless; rather; truthfully; verily)
- لَّ– La — For (= For the attention, benefit, object, purpose or reason of)
- هٗ — Hoo — Him (= s., m., 3rd person. (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to The Almighty Allah’)
- مَا — Maa — Whatever (= All that; what; whatsoever)
- فِىۡ — Fe…(es) — In (= Contained in or amidst a duration, event, time, place, period, thing or situation; inside)
- السَّمٰوٰتِ — Sa-maa-waa-tay — Skies (= Clouds; all above ground or earth; space; The heavens)
- وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- الۡاَرۡضِ — Ur-dzay — Earth (= Area; country; earth; ground; land; territory)
- كُلٌّ — Kool-loon..(l) — All (= Altogether; each and everyone; entirely; totally; wholly; without exception everything)
- لَّ — La — For (= For the attention, benefit, purpose or reason of)
- هٗ — Hoo — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to The Almighty Allah’)
- قَانِتُوۡنَ — Qaa-nay-too-n — Devoutly (= n. Devoted. Devout. Humble. Obedient. Submissive. Sincere. Subservient. In full devotion. Totally surrendered With a devout frame of mind)
