The Holy Qor-aan 002:138
فَاِنۡ اٰمَنُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَآ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ فَقَدِ اهۡتَدَوْا ۚ وَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَاِنَّمَا هُمۡ فِىۡ شِقَاقٍ ۚ فَسَيَكۡفِيۡکَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُؕ

Fa-in-aa-ma-noo-be-mith-lay-maa-aa-mun-toom-bay-he
Fa-qa-daih-ta-dao
Wa-in-ta-wul-loo-fa-in-na-maa-hoom-fee-she-qaaq
Fa-sa-yuk-fee-ka-ho-mool-laa-ho
Wa-ho-wus-sa-mee-ool-aleem.

Then if they believed like what you believed
Then they are on right road.
And if they turn away, then they are in a misfortune
So Allah will soon suffice you against them.
And The Only One He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

- فَ — Fa — Then (= After all this; at the end of; hence; in the final analysis; thus; thereafter; therefore; yet)
- اِنۡ — In — If (= If situation arises; in case; under the circumstances)
- اٰمَنُوۡۤ — Aa-ma-noo — They believed (= v., past, pl. Had sincerely, totally and wholeheartedly believed in the Holy Qor-aan and accepted Islam. 2. Admitted, affirmed, approved, confirmed, concurred corroborated, embraced, entered, evidenced, proved, testified and witnessed to have become Moslems)
- بِ — Bay — With / In (= The literal equivalent of this word in English is ‘with’. But here it is also appropriate to translate it as ‘in’)
- مِثۡلِ — Mith-lay — Like (= Duplicate; identical in nature; just like; the same way; resembling; similar; substitute. Of the same kind, looks quality, shape or type. Of comparable recital)
- مَاۤ — Maa — What (= All that; whatever; whatsoever)
- اٰمَنۡ — Aa-mun — Believed (= v., past, pl. Had sincerely, totally and wholeheartedly believed in the Holy Qor-aan and accepted Islam. 2. Admitted, affirmed, approved, confirmed, concurred corroborated, embraced, entered, evidenced, proved, testified and witnessed to have become Moslems))
- تُمۡ — Toom — You (= pl., m., 2nd person. You. The Holy Qor-aan states this way when the addressees are both men and women)
- بِ — Bay — With (= By means of; with the instrumentality of )
- هٖ — He — That (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to ‘what you believed in’)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Hence; so, therefore. See فَ above for more meanings)
- قَدۡ — Qa-d…(aih) — Surely (= Lays emphasis. Absolutely; categorically; certainly;
definitely, doubtlessly; for sure; in spite of; positively; specially; specifically; verily; without a doubt) - اهۡتَدَوْا — Aih-ta-dao — On right road (= Found, put or placed on correct course, proper path, linear line or way. Guided aright. Rightly guided)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اِنۡ — In — If (= If situation arises; in case; under the circumstances)
- تَوَلَّوۡاْ — Ta-wul-lao — Turn away (= v., Change direction. Compromise the truth. Go in a different or the opposite direction. Deviate from the right path. Ignore. Pay or give no heed. Reverse. Slide back. Take wrong road. Turn back)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Hence; so, therefore. See فَ above for more meanings)
- اِنَّمَا — In-na-maa –Certainly (= The phrase (inna-maa) consists of two words. The first word اِنَّ (inna) means ‘absolutely, certainly, earnestly, doubtlessly, indeed, in all seriousness, positively, truly really, surely or verily.’ The second word مَاۤ (= maa) means ‘all that, what, whatever, whatsoever.’ The two words اِنَّ and مَاۤ joined in a phrase اِنَّمَا (= inna-maa) lay great emphasis on the information highlighted and make the statement that follows it ‘absolutely and positively the most accurate’)
- ھُمۡ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to ‘those turned away’)
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Contained inside or amidst a duration, event, time, place, period, thing or situation; regarding; relative to)
- شِقَاقٍ — She-qaaq — Misfortune (= n., Break; division; gulf; hard luck; obstinacy; schism; opposition; split unfortunate situation. Adversarial ties)
- فَ — Fa — So (= Hence; so, therefore. See فَ above for more meanings)
- سَ — Sa — Soon (= In near term or future; in a short while; quickly; swiftly)
- يَكۡفِيۡ — Yuk-fee — Suffice (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. With س before it, the word means … will be adequate, ample, appropriate, enough, plenteous, proper, satisfactory, sufficient, suitable or fully capable and in control)
- كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You. See Note to 002:005 )
- هُمۡ — Ho-mo…(ol) — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Points to the people who ‘turned away’
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)

- ٱلسَّمِيعُ — Sa-mee-o..(ol) — All-Hearing (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most and highlights that none more than Him hears the best. See 001:001. Most Hearing. The Hearer. Hears all wholly, entirely, surely, totally and truly. Real Hearer. The One from Whom nothing is ever missed or out of hearing)
- الۡعَلِيۡمُ — Aleem — All-Knowing (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest ,the most, and highlights that none more than Him knows. See 001:001. Informed to the maximum. The One with the total knowledge and nothing out of sight. Knows all. Most Knowledgeable. Well-Acquainted. Well-Aware)
