The verse 002:152 enumerates many functions which the Messengers perform.
1. They declare, explain, elaborate, inform, make aware, narrate, read, rehearse; repeat, share and communicate extensively regarding the revelations, messages and signs they brought.
2. They sanctify anyone who comes to them by cleansing, washing and getting rid of their sins. They help people grow by removing their spiritual impurities, shortcomings and weaknesses. They provide an environment conducive for others to multiply spiritually.
