Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                                     002:193

فَاِنِ انۡـتَهَوۡا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏

Fa-e-nun-ta-how-fa-in-nul-laa-ha-gha-foo-roor-ra-heem

So if they stopped, then Allah is indeed Forgiving and Merciful.

  • فَ — Fa — So  (= Consequently; resultantly; so; thereafter; therefore; yet)
  • اِنِ — En…(in) — If (= If the situation arises; in case; under the circumstances)
  • انۡـتَهَوۡ — Un-ta-how — Stopped (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Abstained, avoided, ceased, desisted, ended, kept away, made amends, mended ways, terminated, refrained, restrained, restricted or stayed away from the prohibition)
  • فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; as a result; so; thereafter; therefore; yet)
  • اِنۡ — In-na…(ul) — Indeed (= Certainly; definitely; doubtlessly; positively; surely; verily)
  • ٱللَّهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
  • غَفُوۡرٌ — Gha-foo-roon — Most Forgiver (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most and highlights that none more than Him is The  One Who excuses, overlooks and grants pardons. A/t/a Protector)
  • رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ — Ra-heem — Most Merciful (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most. and highlights that none more than Him shows mercy again and again, continually, incessantly and indefinitely like the endlessly and perpetually incoming  waves from the oceans; Merciful Forever)

Note 002:174c. The Holy Qor-aan has repeated this four-worded phrase several times including in the verses 002:174,  002:193,  002:200 and 073:021.  It has also conveyed that concept in different words including in the verses 002:219 and 004:044.
