The Holy Qor-aan 002:199
لَيۡسَ عَلَيۡکُمۡ جُنَاحٌ اَنۡ تَبۡتَغُوۡا فَضۡلًا مِّنۡ رَّبِّکُمۡؕ فَاِذَآ اَفَضۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ عَرَفٰتٍ فَاذۡکُرُوا اللّٰهَ عِنۡدَ الۡمَشۡعَرِ الۡحَـرَامِ وَاذۡکُرُوۡهُ کَمَا هَدٰٮکُمۡۚ وَاِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِهٖ لَمِنَ الضَّآ لِّيۡنَ
Lai-sa-alai-koom-jo-naa-hoon-un-tub-ta-ghoo-fudz-lun-mir-rub-bay-koom Fa-ezaa-aa-fudz-toom-min-aa-ra-faa-tin Fuz-ko-rool-laa-ha-in-dul-maush-aa-ril-ha-raa-m. Wuz-ko-roo-ho-ka-maa-ha-daa-koom. Wa-in-koon-toom-min-qub-lay-he-la-may-nudz-dzaal-lee-n.
No sin on you if you seek Grace from your God. So when you have benefited from Arafaat Then remember Allah at Musch-aa-ril-Ha-raa-m. And you remember Him in the manner He has guided you. And most certainly before that you were among the lost.
- لَـيۡسَ — Lai-sa — Not (= Never; no; not all; absolute negation)
- عَلَيۡ — Alai — On (= Above; against; before; for; on top of; over; upon)
- کُمۡ — Ko0m — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. The Holy Qor-aan states this way when addressing both men and women jointly
- جُنَاحٌ — Jo-naa-hoon — Sin (= Blame; inappropriate conduct; crime; illegal; misdeed; harm; offense; wrong; violation of a Prohibition)
- اَنۡ — Un — That (= Since; so that; for the purpose)
- تَبۡتَغُوۡا — Tub-ta-ghoo — You seek (= v., pres., m., pl., 2nd person. Aspire; crave; desire; want; wish)
- فَضۡلًا — Fudz-lun — Abundance (= n., 1. As an Attribute of Allah:- Bountiful. Lord of benevolence and kindness. Full of grace. Generous. Gracious. Granter of more reward than the good deeds done – 10 times like it is stated in 006:161. Munificent. 2. Abundant blessings; generosity; liberality)
- مِّنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class, category, count, kind or several articles, things, persons or phenomenon)
- رَّبِّ — Rub-bay — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
- کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. See کُم above)
- فَ — Fa — So (= Consequently; as a result; so; then; thus; therefore; yet)
- اِذَاۤ — Ezaa — When (= Any time, event, occasion or opportunity; whenever)
- اَفَضۡ — Aa-fudz — Benefited (= v., past, 2nd person. Depart, go away, leave or quit after having benefited from or taken advantage. A/t/a, came running; hastened on, pressed on along or poured forth or gone away with the multitudes)
- تُمۡ — Toom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. See کُم above)
- مِّنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class. See مِّنۡ above)
- عَرَفٰتٍ — Aa-ra-faa-tin — Arafaat (= Also spelled as Arafat. The name of a place and a mountain where parts of the worships during the Hujj are performed)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Consequently; as a result; so; thus; therefore; yet)
- اذۡكُرُوۡا — Uzko-roo..(l) — Remember (= v., pres., pl.,2nd person. 1. Attend to; bear in mind; call to mind; consider; contemplate; keep in mind; mention; pay attention; ponder; recall; reflect; think about or of. 2. Beseech, celebrate the praise, glorify, pray or praise with gratitude. Offer prayers; perform worships)
- ٱللَّهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- عِنۡدَ — In-da — At (= At; close at hand; from; in; in close proximity of; with. Within the presence, precincts, seeing or sight of. In the front, near or presence of)
- الۡمَشۡعَرِ — Mush-aa-r(il) — Origination (= n., Also, The name of a mountain, monument and place just east of Mak-kah where parts of the worship in Hujj are performed)
- الۡحَـرَامِ — Ha-raa-m — Sacred (= Anointed; holy)
- وَ — Wa…(uz) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اذۡکُرُو — Uz-ko-roo — Remember (= v., pl., Beseech, celebrate the praise. See اذۡكُرُوۡا above)
- هُ — Ho — That (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
- کَمَا — Ka-ma — In the manner (= Combination of two words. The first word is كَ that means ‘as if it were; like; resembling; similar to’. The second word is مَا that means ‘all that, what, whatever, whatsoever.’ The combination کَمَا means ‘as if it were; even as, identical to, in the fashion, in the like manner; just as; just like; just the way; line, manner, method, or style of resembling; similarly)
- هَدٰى — Ha-daa — Guided (= v., past., m., s., 3rd person. Coddled on correct course; directed accurately towards the best way; gave the best direction; guided to and led on the linier lines; put on the proper path; showed the right road)
- کُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. See کُم above)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- اِنۡ — In — Certainly * (= Absolutely; assuredly; categorically; clearly; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; positively, really; verily seriously; sincerely; specifically; surely; truly)
- کُنۡ — Koon — Had been ( =v., 3rd person. Used to. Conveys continuity from the past to the present and leading into the future – like ‘continued doing’ or ‘went on doing’)
- تُمۡ — Toom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. See کُم above)
- مِّنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class, category, count, kind or several articles, things, persons or phenomenon)
- قَبۡلِ — Qub-lay — Before (= Aforetime; ahead of; antecedent; earlier than; former or older times; occurred or passed; previously)
- هٖ — He — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid guidance
- لَ — La — Certainly * (= Absolutely; assuredly; definitely. See اِنۡ above. See our Commentary 2 Words of Emphasis used together Multiply Effect)
- مِنَ — May-na..(udz) — Among (= Among, from or out of the class, category, count, kind or several articles, things, persons or phenomenon)
- الضَّآلِّيۡنَ — Dzaal-leen — Gone astray (= n., pl., Astray; erring; in error; misguided. Those who had gone astray, lost the way, or took the wrong path, road or turn or went off the track.
