Why don’t you see the leaders of all children of Israel                                        After Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs,                                                      “Set up for us a king so we may fight in the cause of Allah.”

He said, “Could it be that you                                                                                                  If fighting was mandated upon you                                                                                     That you will not fight.”

They said, “What could be with us that we won’t fight                                                   In the cause of Allah? And surely we were driven away                                                 From our homes and our children.”

So when the fighting was mandated on them,                                                                  They turned away except a few of them.                                                                              And Allah knows about the wrongdoers very well.
