Have you not looked at the leaders of  the children of Israel                                      After Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs,                                                      “Appoint a king for us so so we may fight in the cause of Allah.”

He said, “Could it be — if mandated
Upon you was the fighting — that you do not fight?”

They said, “And what could be for us that we do not fight                                            In the cause of Allah and surely we were driven away                                                 From our homes and our children.”

Then when the fighting was mandated upon them,
They turned away except a tiny number of them.
And Allah knows well the wrongdoers.
