The Holy Qor-aan 003: 012
.
كَدَاۡبِ اٰلِ فِرۡعَوۡنَۙ وَالَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡؕ كَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا ۚ فَاَخَذَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِذُنُوۡبِهِمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ شَدِيۡدُ الۡعِقَابِ
Ka-dau-bay-aa-lay-fer-auo-na-wul-la-zee-na-min-qub-lay-him Kuz-za-boo-bay-aa-yaa-tay-naa Fa-aa-kha-za-ho-mool-laa-ho-bay-zo-noo-bay-him Wul-laa-ho-sha-deed-ol-aiy-qaa-b.
Like the fate of Pharaoh’s followers and those before them. They belied with Our Signs. So Allah caught them with their sins. And by God Allah is very severe in the follow-up (= the penalty phase).
- كَ — Ka — Like (= Example; identical to; resembling; similar to; similitude)
- دَ اۡ بِ — Dau-bay — Fate (= Behavior; case; end; example; plight; precedent; very similar conditions and situations)
- اٰلِ — Aa-lay — Followers (= Folks; men; nation; people. Also, children; off-springs; progeny)
- فِرۡعَوۡنَ — Phir-auo-na — Pharaoh (= 1. The dictatorial monarchs of Egypt. 2. Also refer to a person who is extremely arrogant and boastful; pride-stricken; vanity-rich; with big ego)
- وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- ٱلَّذِينَ — La-zee-na — Those who (= pl., male, 3rd person articles, thing or persons)
- مِنۡ — Min — From (= From or among the class, category, count, persons or out of)
- قَبۡلِ — Qub-lay — Before (= Earlier, former, older, past or prior times. Aforetime. Ahead. Something that happened or occurred in prior periods antecedently, historically and previously)
- هِمۡ — Him — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to Pharaoh’s followers)
The phrase in next 3 words is repeated in 002:040, 003:012, 062:006 is 078:029
- كَذَّبُوۡا — Kuz-za-boo — They belied (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Denied; derided, denounced, disowned, opposed, misrepresented, negated; rejected. Any translation in the present tense is not of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated in the past tense)
- بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ means with)
- اٰيٰتِ — Aa-yaa-tay — Signs (= n., pl of … An argument, corroboration, indication, insinuation, pointer, portent, sign, suggestion, symbol or token. See Note 002:074)
- نَآ — Naa — Our (= pro., pl., 1st person. Us. Used with God’s name it reflects the authoritative way a higher-up talks to a subordinate)
- فَ — Fa — So (= As a result; consequently; then; thereafter; therefore)
- اَخَذَ — Aa-kha-za — Caught (= v., pas., 1. Arrested; caught; detained; overtook; seized; secured. 2. Destroyed; grabbed; held; hit; pounded; punished; smote)
- هُمُ — Ho-mo…(ol) — Them (= Pronoun refers to third person, plural, male gender)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- بِ — Bay — With (= Due to; in ref to; on account of; relative to)
- ذُ نُوۡبِ — Zo-noo-bay — Sins (= pl., Inappropriate conduct; crimes; grave mistakes; illegalities; misdeeds; wrongs)
- هِمۡ — Him — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to Pharaoh’s followers)
- وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= This وَ vaao is tantamount to taking oath; solemn declaration or calling as a witness)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- شَدِيۡدُ — Sha-deed…(ol) — Severe (= Fierce; frightful; grievous; incredibly harsh; terrible. Also, forceful; heavy; mighty; stern; strict; strong.
- الۡعِقَابِ — Aiy-qaa-b — Follow-up (= n., Accountability; aftermath; chastisement; consequence; continuation; effect; outcome; penalty phase; punishing; punishment;; requiting; retribution; result; sequel)
