The Holy Qor-aan 003:030
قُلۡ اِنۡ تُخۡفُوۡا مَا فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِكُمۡ اَوۡ تُبۡدُوۡهُ يَعۡلَمۡهُ اللّٰهُؕ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ
Qool-in-tookh-foo-maa-fee-so-do-ray-koom Auo-toob-doo-ho-ya-lum-hool-laa-ho Wa-yau-la-mo-maa-fis-sa-maa-waa-tay-wa-maa-fil-ur-dzay Wul-laa-ho-alaa-kool-lay-shai-in-qa-dee-r
You say, “Whether you conceal that is in your hearts Or you reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth.” By God Allah is in full control of everything
- قُلۡ — Qool — You say (= Announce, broadcast; call upon all others; convey; declare; elaborate; explain; expound; inform; invoke; profess; preach; specify; state; tell; warn. Read our Commentary ‘You Say’ means)
- اِنۡ — In — Whether (= If; in case; under the circumstances)
- تُخۡفُواْ — Tookh-foo — You conceal (= v., Give secretly; hide. Keep private, under cover, secret or surreptitiously)
- مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever)
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Amidst or contained inside a duration, event, time, period, place, thing or situation. Also, concerning; in reference; for the sake of; regarding; relative to)
- صُدُورِ — So-doo-ray — Hearts (= pl., Bosoms; breasts; chests; hearts; minds; hidden thoughts locked in human breasts; souls)
- کُمۡ — Koom — Your (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You. The Holy Qor-aan states this way when addressing both men and women jointly)
- أَوۡ — Auo — Or (= Alternatively)
- تُبۡدُو — Toob-doo — You reveal (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Announce; broadcast; convey; declare; demonstrate; disclose; expose; make known to others; manifest; proclaim; publicize; publish; show; tell others)
- هُ — Ho — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid idea, plan, scheme or thought in the mind)
- يَعۡلَمۡ — Yau-lum — Knows (= Aware; has the information about and knowledge of)
- هُ — Ho…(ol) — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid idea or plan)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- يَعۡلَمُ — Yau-la-mo — Knows (= Aware; has the information about and knowledge of)
- مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever)
- فِى — F … (is) — In (= About; amidst, among, inside a duration, time, place, period, thing or situation. Also, concerning; regarding, relative to or in reference. See Note 002:028)
- السَّمٰوٰتِ — Sa-maa-waa-tay — The heavens (= n., pl., All above ground or earth; clouds; firmament; heavens; rain; skies; universe. Also, knowledge of astronomical objects in space)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever)
- فِى — F… (il) — In (= About, inside a time, place or thing. See فِىۡ above)
- الۡاَرۡضِ — Ul-ur-dzay — Earth (= n., s., Area; country; earth; ground; land; territory. Also, life on earth, nation; people or society in general)
- وَ — Wa … (ul) — And (= The وَ vaao is tantamount to taking oath; solemn declaration or calling as a witness. See also وَ above)
The Holy Qor-aan has frequently stated the truth in the next five words. See Note 002:021
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah is (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- عَلَى — Alaa — Of / on (= Above; for; of; on; over; upon)
- كُلِّ — Kool-lay — Every (= All things without exception; entirely; totally; wholly)
- شَىۡءٍ — Shai-in — Thing (= Article; being; element; item; phenomenon)
- قَدِيۡرٌ — Qa-dee-r — In full control (= superlative form that includes the meanings of ‘fullness and totality of control.‘ Controller. Has the absolute power to do what He wills. Master and possessor of all powers)
