.

فَنَادَتۡهُ الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآٮِٕمٌ يُّصَلِّىۡ فِى الۡمِحۡرَابِۙ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحۡيٰى مُصَدِّقًۢا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَسَيِّدًا

وَّحَصُوۡرًا وَّنَبِيًّا مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ‏

Fa-naa-dut-hool-ma-laa-aiy-ka-to-wa-ho-wa                                                                          Qaa-aiy-moon-yo-sul-lee-fil-maih-raa-bay                                                                                  Un-nul-la-ha-yo-baush-shay-ro-ka-bay-yah-yaa                                                                    Mo-sud-day-qun-bay-ka-lay-ma-tin-may-nul-laa-hay                                                           Wa-suy-yay-dun-wa-ha-soo-run-wa-na-be-yun-may-nus-sua-lay-hee-n.

Then the angels called out to him and he was                                                                  Standing in the chambers praying.                                                                                 “Surely Allah gives you the good news of Yah-yaa                                                    Fulfilling the word from Allah                                                                                                 And as a leader and pious and prophet from among the righteous.”

• نَا دَ تۡ — Naa-dut — Called out to (= Addressed, announced, stated, said or told aloud. Also, made a proclamation or proclaimed)
• هُ — Ho…(ol) — Him (= pro., s., m., 3^rd person. Refers to Zachariah)
• الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ — Ma-laa-aiy-ka-to — Angels (= The immortal beings in attendance of God Almighty; a kind, loving and lovable person)
• وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
• هُو — Ho-wa — He (= pro., s., m., 3^rd person. Refers to Zachariah)
• قَآٮِٕمٌ — Qaa-aiy-moon — Standing (= Not sitting or bowing. Acting; affirming; enforcing; establishing; maintaining; observing appropriately)
• يُّصَلِّىۡ — Yo-sul-lee — Praying (= v., Asking; begging; beseeching; imploring; requesting;  supplicating)
• فِىۡ — F…(il) — Inside (= In a duration, time, period, thing or place)
• الۡمِحۡرَابِ — Maih-raa-bay — Chamber (= Clean place kept for prayers; sacred praying place; holy private room; residential quarters; sanctuary; shrine)
• اَنَّ — Un-na…(ul) — Most certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; indeed; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)
• ٱللَّهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
• يُبَشِّرُ — Yo-baush-shay-ro — Joyous news (= Announces; bids to rejoice; gives glad tiding; gives good news; happily informs)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2^nd person. You single male.
• بِ — Bay — With (= About; entitled to; of; in ref to; relative to; suited for)
• يَحۡيٰى — Yah-yaa — Yah-yaa (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah; John. The  word means ‘Brought to, given or quickened to life.’ This is a reference is to John)
• مُصَدِّقًۢا — Mo-sud-day-qun — Fulfilling (= adj., Satisfying.  As a v., Bearing truthfulness; affirming, approving, attesting, authenticating, confirming, corroborating, establishing, proving, testifying, verifying or witnessing the truth of and the prophecies in earlier  scriptures. As a n., He who or anything that affirms, approves, affirms or confirms. Testator. Truthful. Verifier. Witness)

• كَلِمَةٍ — Ka-lay-ma-tin — A word (= n., s, Sign. Affirmation; announcement; assignment; command; declaration; inspiration; message; phrase; prayer; promise; proof. pronouncement; revelation; speech; statement. What combines many words to
  form a message)
• مِنَ — May-na…(ul) — From (= From)
• اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
• وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
• سَيِّدًا — Suy-yay-dun — Leader (= Chief; controller; director; highly respected; honored; honorable; in-charge; leader; lordly; master; noble; princely)
• وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
• حَصُوۡرًا — Ha-soo-run — Pious (= Chaste; clean; holy; righteous; spiritual; upright.  The word is also translated by some translators as the “Keeping away from sexual relations with women” and by others as the ‘Utterly chaste’)
• وَّ  — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
• نَبِيًّا — Na-be-yun — Prophet (= God’s messenger; one who brings or reveals new news.  A/t/a, apostle, saint or sage. Also One who forecasts, foretells or gives news of coming events)

• الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ — Sua-lay-hee-n — The righteous (= n., pl., People who are always clean, good and holy acting piously and appropriately. Pious. Righteous. Upright. Virtuous)
