The Holy Qor-aan 003:059
ذٰ لِكَ نَـتۡلُوۡهُ عَلَيۡكَ مِنَ الۡاٰيٰتِ وَ الذِّكۡرِ الۡحَكِيۡمِ
Zaa-lay-ka-nut-loo-ho-alai-ka-may-nul-aa-yaa-tay-wuz-zik-ril-ha-kee-m
This We read to you from among the signs and the Reminder, full of wisdom.
- ذٰلِكَ — Zaa-lay-ka — This (= Here; refers to an aforesaid fact, person or statement; it was because; right here; such is this; that is how it is
- نَـتۡلُو — Nut-loo — We recite (= v., Deliver; rehearse; speak publicly; narrate; read)
- هُ –Ho — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid shown, specified or stated article, thing or person)
- عَلَيۡ — Alai — On (= Above; for; over; upon)
- كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You single male. The addressee of this divine message is initially the Holy Prophet s.a.w and secondarily every Moslem, in fact every human being. See the Note under 002:005)
- مِنَ — May-na..(ul) — From among (= Among, from or out of the class, category, count, kind)
- الۡاٰيٰتِ — Aa-yaa-tay — The signs (= pl., 1. Manifestation; message; narrative; revelation; verse. 2. Command; direction; evidence; law; order. 3. Corroboration; indication; lesson; portent; proof; pointer; symbol; token. 4. Every element to create the crystal clear picture leading to an absolute conviction. 5. Argument, part or portion that highlights or points to something else)
- وَ — Wa…(uz) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- الذِّكۡرِ — Zik-ray ..(il) — The Reminder (= n., Admonition. Exhortation; Message. Pondering. Recalling. Reflecting. Refreshing the memory. Remembrance. Reminding. Urging. Warning. Translator Ahmad Zidan translated الذِّكۡرِ here as ‘Qur-an’ but the same word الذِّكۡرِ in 021:106 as “The Torah (given to Moses)”
- الۡحَكِيۡمِ — (I)l-ha-kee-m — Full of wisdom (= n., Exalted in wisdom. The Wisest. Wise Reminder)
