The Holy Qor-aan 003:075
يَّخۡتَصُّ بِرَحۡمَتِهٖ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ ذُو الۡفَضۡلِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ
Yukh-tus-so-bay-ruh-ma-tay-he-mun-ya-shaa-o Wul-laa-ho-zool-fudz-lil-azeem
He pinpoints for His mercy whomever He chooses. By God Allah is the Master of the Greatest Abundance
- يَّخۡتَصُّ — Yukh-tus-so — He pinpoints (= v., pres., Bestows; chooses; confers; selects; singles out; specifies)
- بِ — Bay — For (= Literally the word بِ means ‘with’ but the intent of original text here is best conveyed with the word ‘for’ in the English usage)
- رَحۡمَة — Ruh-ma-tay — Mercy (= Beneficence. Clemency. Compassion. Condoning. Forgiveness. Intercession. Intervention. Kindness. Leniency. Omitting, relenting or waiving punishment.
- هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
- مَنۡ — Mun — Whomever (= Anyone; who; whoever; whom; whoso)
- يَّشَآءُ — Ya-shaa-o — He chooses (= v., pres., Does or will … decide, decree, desire, destine, dictate; like, mandate, order, please; prefer; rule, select, want, will or wish)
- وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= The وَ vaao is tantamount to taking oath; solemn declaration or calling as a witness. Also, a Conjunction that links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; also; and; but; more over; though; when; while; whereupon)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- ذُوۡ — Zool — Master of (= Bestowed or endowed with; Lord; owner; possessor)
- الۡفَضۡلِ — Fudz-lay..(il) — Abundance (= n., Affluence, award, blessing, bliss, bounty; eminence, generosity; goodness, grace or kindness which is also enormous, extreme, graceful, plenteous, infinitely stretched out and tremendous. See Note 003:074b.
- الۡعَظِيۡمِ — Azeem — Greatest (= As a n., this word tells of (a) a person, place, time, condition or situation that includes being good, great, superb, fabulous, fantastic, terrific and wonderful packed with the concepts of awe, might and glory as well as (b) the opposite thereof in someone or something which is bad and not good. As an adj., or adv., this word accentuates and magnifies the impact by describing the good with translations such as exceedingly, extremely, immensely, incredibly and infinitely. See Note 003:173)
