The Holy Qor-aan 003:077
بَلٰى مَنۡ اَوۡفٰى بِعَهۡدِهٖ وَاتَّقٰى فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ
Ba-laa-mun-auo-fa-bay-ah-day-he-wut-ta-qaa Fa-in-nul-laa-ha-yo-hib-bool-moot-ta-qee-n
The fact is that he who kept his word and pursued piety Will see then that Allah certainly loves the righteous.
- بَلٰى — Ba-laa — The fact is (= But; aye; nay; however; indeed; instead; of course; nevertheless; on the contrary; rather; really; the fact is; truthfully; verily; yea but; yes) A/t/a, “Nay (they will indeed be called on to account)” Allamah Noorduddin)
- مَنۡ — Mun — Whoever (= Anyone; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso)
- اَوۡفٰى — Auo-faa — Kept (= v., past., Carried out; completed; fulfilled; honored; filled; implemented. A/t/a, discharges obligations)
- بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ means ‘with’)
- عَهۡدِ — Ah-day — Word (= n., Agreement, commitment, contract, covenant, pledge or promise. Binding contract. Firm, serious or solemn affirmation, assurance, confirmation or undertaking. A/t/a, ‘faith’ and ‘plighted faith’)
- هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to one who promises)
- وَ — Wa…(ut) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اتَّقٰى — Ta-qaa — Pursued piety (= v., past., Acted aright. Avoided angering Allah.. Kept word. Guarded against and stayed away from evil.. See 002:003 and Commentary titled as The Righteous)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= As a result; consequently; so; thereafter; therefore)
- اِنَّ — In-na…(ul) Certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; positively; really; seriously; surely; truly; verily)
- ٱللَّهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- يُحِبُّ — Yo-hib-bo..(ol) — Loves (= v., Adores; appreciates; cherishes; likes; covets; wants. A/t/a, craves attention of; desires; develops attachment; prefers; wishes for)
- لِّلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ — Moot-ta-qee-n Righteous (= n., Clean; pious; doers of duty owed to God Almighty. God-Fearing. Noble. Righteous. Those who act right, avoid angering Allah, and are virtuous. See اتَّقٰى above)
