The Holy Qor-aan 003:117
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَنۡ تُغۡنِىَ عَنۡهُمۡ اَمۡوَالُهُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَوۡلَادُهُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ شَيۡـــًٔا ؕ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِۚ هُمۡ فِيۡهَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ
In-na ul-la-zee-na ka-fa-roo Lun toogh-nay-ya un hoom Um-waa-lo hoom wa laa auo-laa-do hoom May-na ul-laa-hay shai-aa Wa o-laa-aiy-ka us-haa-boon naar Hoom fee haa khaa-lay-doo-n
Certainly, all those who disbelieved Are that of no avail to them is Their wealth nor their children From Allah to the least. And all of them are the inmate of the Fire. Therein they will abide.
The following construction of eighteen (18) words appears in verses 003:011 and 003:117
- اِنَّ — In-na … (ul) — Most certainly — (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; indeed; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)
- ٱلَّذِينَ — La-zee-na — Those who (= pl., male, in 3rd person. Articles, things or persons)
- كَفَرُوۡا — Ka-fa-roo — Disbelieved (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. Denied, refused or rejected the Faith to believe in Allah, the Holy Qor-aan and Iss-laam and become Moslems. Became heretics, infidels, unbelievers or ungrateful. See the Note 002:007)
- لَن — Lun — No (= Absolute denial; never; not; not all; total negation)
- تُغۡنِىَ — Toogh-nay-ya — Avail (= Benefit; help; use; utility. Also, make a person dispense with, take away, take lightly or treat trivially)
- عَنۡ — Un — From (= About; concerning; regarding; relative to)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid disbelievers)
- اَمۡوَالُ — Um-waa-lo — Possessions (= pl., Affluence; assets; gains; goods; moneys; properties resources; riches; substance; valuables; wealth. For more meanings see the Note to 002:262)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid disbelievers)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- لَا — Laa — Nor (= Absolute denial; never; no; not at all; total negation)
- اَوۡلَادُ — Auo-laa-do — Children (= n., pl., Babies. Boys and girls. Future generations. Infants. Off-springs. Sons and daughters. Progeny. Successors)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid disbelievers)
- مِّنَ — May-na … (ul) — From (= As against)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The Almighty God; The only One worthy of worship)
- شَيۡـًٔ۬ا — Shai-aa — Least (= Anything however little or insignificant. Smallest part of an article, item, object, material, thing, matter, type, phenomenon. Something or somewhat. In instant case, of any avail to get any benefit or concession)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)

- اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — Olaa-aiy-ka — They all (= Aforesaid facts, persons or things. Here the reference is to aforesaid folks, people, sinners and wrong doers)
- اَصۡحٰبُ — Us-haa-bo … (on) — Inmates (= n., pl., This one word has many shades of meanings. With closeness as an element … Associates; companions; families; fellows; folks; friends; heirs. With residence as an element … citizens; denizens; dwellers; guests; inmates; inhabitants; invitees; live ins; natives; residents; stayers; visitors. With control as an element … army; controllers; fighters; masters; occupants; occupiers; owners; people; populace; population; possessors; soldiers)
- ٱلنَّارِ — Naa-ray — The Fire (= Anger, punishment or wrath of Allah; hell; hell fire; purgatory. The Fire of punishment. Literally, the rapid sustained reaction or source of releasing light and heat)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid inmates)
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Contained in or amidst a duration, event, time, place, period, thing or situation; inside)
- هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to the fire)
- خٰلِدُوۡنَ — Khaa-lay-doo-n — Dwellers (= n., pl., Those abiding, living, staying or residing for a time unspecified as in a hospital or rest house. To add words like everlastingly, for ever after, permanently and perpetually is inappropriate for those who will go to hell. Adding such a qualification is appropriate only for the residents of Paradise . Some interpreters have incorrectly labeled this period to last forever. See Note 002:040)
Note 003:011. The first eighteen words of the verses 003:011 and 003:117 are the same. The last seven words of the verse 002:040, 002:082, 002:218, 00:258 and 003:117 are the same.
