* Note 003:119. A compact translation of verse 003:119 by NJ Dawood is as follows. “They will spare no pains to corrupt you. They desire nothing but your ruin. Their hatred is clear from what they say, but more violent is the hatred their breasts conceal. We have made plain to you Our revelations. Strive to understand them.”

The translation clearly spells out a forecast for all times to come to be filled again and again wherever Moslem live. An illustration was provided by Lahore High Court’s Justice Afzal Zullah. In 1980’s he issued an ultra vires notice of Contempt of Court to Mirza Tahir Ahmad [Head of the Ahmadiyya Community in Islam] on the ground that he in England called himself a Moslem whereas Pakistani Laws had made it a crime that an Ahmadi calls himself a Moslem.
