The Holy Qor-aan 003:128
لِيَقۡطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اَوۡ يَكۡبِتَهُمۡ فَيَنۡقَلِبُوۡا خَآٮِٕبِيۡنَ
Lay-yuq-ta-aa-ta- ra-fun-may-nul-la-zee-na-ka-fa-roo Auo-yuk-bay-ta-hoom-fa-yun-qa-lay-boo-kha-aiy-bee-n
So that He may sever a part of those who disbelieved Or, humiliate them so that they turn back frustrated.

- يَقۡطَعَ — Yuq-ta-aa — He may sever (= v., pl., 3rd person., Break; cut down; cut off; cut asunder; disconnect; disjoint; divide; remove; separate; sever; tear down)
- طَرَفًا — Ta-ra-fun — Part (= Flank; fraction; fragment; fringe; piece; portion; section; small segment or splinter)
- مِّنَ — May-na…(ul) — From (= Among, from or out of the class, category, count, kind or several articles, things, persons or phenomenon)
- ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. All those articles, things or persons)
- كَفَرُوۡا — Ka-fa-roo — Disbelieved (= v., past., pl., 3rd person; Abused, denied, failed, missed, rejected or refused to appreciate, thank, use or utilize any of the God-given abilities, blessings, capacities, capabilities, gifts, opportunities afforded and talents endowed. Also, became a blasphemer, faithless, heretic, impious, infidel, ingrate, non-believer, pagan, rejecter of, resistor to, or unbeliever in God)
- اَوۡ — Auo — Or (= Alternatively; in substitution)
- يَكۡبِتَ — Yuk-bay-ta — Humiliate (= v., pres., 3rd person., Abase; belittle; degrade; demean; insult. A/t/a, ‘expose to infamy,’ ‘overwhelm them,’ ‘put them to flight’ or ‘rout’ them)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. Refers to the disbelievers)
- فَ — Fa — So (= As a result; consequently; hence; in the end; then; thereafter; therefore)
- يَنۡقَلِبُوۡا — Yun-qa-lay-boo — Turn back (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person., Go back; retire; retreat; return; revert; withdraw)
- خَآٮِٕبِيۡنَ — Khaa-aiy-bee-n — Frustrated (= Disappointed; disgruntled; displeased; dissatisfied; disgusted failures; frustrated of purpose; utterly frustrated)
