The Holy Qor-aan 003:161
اِنۡ يَّنۡصُرۡكُمُ اللّٰهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَـكُمۡ ۚ وَاِنۡ يَّخۡذُلۡكُمۡ فَمَنۡ ذَا الَّذِىۡ يَنۡصُرُكُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ
In-yun-soor-ko-mool-laa-ho-fa-laa-ghaa-lay-ba-la-koom Wa-in-yukh-zool-koom-fa-mun-zul-la-ze-yun-so-ro-koom-min-bau-day-he Wa-alul-laa-hay-ful-ya-ta-wuk-ka-lil-moe-my-noo-m
If Allah helps you, there is no subjugator for you And if He abandons you then who can help you after Him And on Allah thus the Believers certainly trust
- اِنۡ — In — If (= In case; under the circumstances; when; when situation arises; whenever; since; whether)
- يَّنۡصُرۡ — Yun-soor — Helps (= v., pres., s., 3rd person, Aids; assists; supports)
- كُمُ — Ko-mo(ol) — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . The Holy Qor-aan states that way when addressing both men and women jointly
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Hence; so; thus; after all this; at the end; in conclusion; consequently; finally; thereafter; therefore)
- لَا — Laa — No (= Absolute denial; never; not at all; total negation)
- غَالِبَ — Ghaa-lay-ba –Subjugator (= n., Conqueror; triumphant, victorious; winner. One who overcomes, overpowers, overrides and is winning over. A/t/a many translated this noun as a verb stating that ‘none can overcome you’
- لَ — La — For (= Concerning, regarding; relative to; intended for, or for your benefit)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . The Holy Qor-aan states that way when addressing both men and women jointly)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- اِنۡ — In — If (= In case; since; under the circumstances; whether)
- يَّخۡذُلۡ — Yukh-zool — He abandons (= v., pres., s., 3rd person., Causes to lose respect; forgets. Also, disgraces; humiliates; insults; lets you go astray; punishes. A/t/a, Forsakes)
- لَ — La — For (= Concerning, regarding; relative to; intended for, or for your deteriment)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . The Holy Qor-aan states that way when addressing both men and women jointly)
- فَ — Fa — Then (= Hence; so; thus; after all this; at the end; in conclusion; consequently; finally; resultantly; thereafter; therefore)
- مَنۡ — Mun — Who (= Which person)
- ذَا — Zaa — Is capable (= Controller; Lord; Master; owner; possessor)
- الَّذِىۡ — La-zee — He who (= s., m., 3rd person, who which article, thing or person)
- يَنۡصُرُ — Yun-so-ro — Helps (= v., pres., s., 3rd person, aid; assist; support)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . The Holy Qor-aan states that way when addressing both men and women jointly)
- مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category or several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon)
- بَعۡدِ — Bau-day — After (= Subsequent to; succeeding generations. A/t/a, besides)
- هٖ — He — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
The Holy Qor-aan used the following group of words in 003:123, 003:161 and 005:012
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- عَلٰى — Al … (ul) — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- فَ — Fa … (ul) — Thus (= Hence; so; then; thus; after all; at end; in conclusion; consequently; finally; resultantly; thereafter; therefore)
- لۡ — L — Certainly (= Assuredly; clearly, definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; positively; really; truly; surely; verily)
- يَتَوَكَّلِ — Ya-ta-wuk-ka-lil — They trust (= v, pres., pl., 3rd person.. Count; entrust; have faith; trust)
- الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ — Moe-may-noo-n — Believers (= n,. Adherents of Islam; those who enter the Faith, believe and follow the Holy Qor-aan, the Islaam and become Moslems. Men of faith. The faithful. See Commentary titled as BELIEVE and DISBELIEVE)
