Wa-laa-yah-sa-bun-nul-la-ze-na                                                                                                      Yub-kha-loo-na-bay-maa-aa-taa-ho-mool-laa-ho-min-fudz-lay-he                                        Ho-wa-khai-run-la-hoom                                                                                                                      Bul-ho-wa-shur-roon-la-hoom                                                                                                          Sa-yo-tuw-wa-qoo-na-maa-ba-khay-loo-bay-he                                                                      Yao-mul-qay-yaa-ma-tay                                                                                                                      Wa-lil-laa-hay-me-raa-thos-sa-maa-waa-tay-wul-ur-dzay                                                    Wul-laa-ho-bay-maa-tau-ma-loo-na-kha-bee-r

And they must not think who are stingy                                                                      With what Allah gave them out of His grace                                                                That it is good for them.                                                                                                      Really it is bad for them.                                                                                                        They will be collared with what they were stingy                                                          On the day of Judgment.                                                                                                        And the Ownership of the heavens and earth belongs to Allah.                                By God Allah knows well with what you do.

** Note 003:181. Some authors attempting to translate the Holy Qor-aan really stated the opposite of what the original text had laid out. Following are the inaccuracies in the translation of this verse by N J Dawood and some other translators.

  • The word  يَبۡخَلُوۡنَ  (Yub-kha-loo-na = Behave stingy) is a verb but the author translated it as ‘misers’ like it was a noun.
  • The word  اٰتٰ  (Aa-taa = Gave) is a verb but the author translated it as ‘gifts’ like it was a noun.
  • The word  مِيۡرَاثُ  (Me-raa-tho = Ownership) is a noun but the author translated it as ‘will inherit’ like it was a verb.
  • The word  تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ  (Tau-ma-loo-na = You do) is a verb but the author translated it as ‘all your actions’ like it was a noun.
