The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                           003:193

 

رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ مَنۡ تُدۡخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدۡ اَخۡزَيۡتَهٗ ‌ؕ وَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَنۡصَارٍ

 

Rub-ba-naa-inna-ka-mun-tood-khay-lin-naa-ra                                                                            Fa-qud-ukh-zay-ta-hoo                                                                                                                          Wa-maa-liz-zaa-lay-me-na-min-un-saa-rin

 

God of us all! Surely whomsoever You enter in the Fire                                                So you surely have disgraced him.                                                                                        And the wrongdoers have no helpers

 

  • رَبَّ — Rub-ba — God (= The Almighty Allah who fills needs of all creatures; Cherisher; Creator; Guardian; Master; Lord Provident. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. The Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist. See 002:287)
  • نَآ — Naa — All of us (= pro., pl., 1st person. We. Us)
  • اِنَّ — In-na — Certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed;      positively; really; seriously; surely; truly; verily)
  • كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You single male. The addressee of this divine message is initially the Holy Prophet  s.a.w and secondarily every Moslem, in fact every human being. See the Note under 002:005)
  • مَنۡ — Mun — Whomsoever (= Anyone; who; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso)
  • تُدۡخِلِ — Tood-khay-la — You admit (= v., past., pl., 3rd person. admit; cast; enter. A/t/a, ‘Thou causest to enter,’  ‘Thou dost admit,’  ‘Thou makest enter,’and ‘Thou dost condemn to enter’)
  • النَّارَ — Naa-ra — The Fire (= Hell; rapid sustained chemical reaction releasing heat and light. Also, a source for light and heat)
  • فَ — Fa — So (= Hence; then; thus; after all; at the end; in conclusion; consequently; finally; resultantly; thereafter; therefore)
  • قَدۡ — Qud —  Surely (= This word lays emphasis by repeating the meanings of the above word)
  • اَخۡزَيۡ — Ukh-zai — Disgraced (= v., past., pl., 3rd person..Denounced; dishonored;  humiliated; insulted. A/t/a, ‘caught in punishment to publicly show his disgrace’ and ‘him hast Thou surelY disgraced,’  ‘Thou hast surely disgraced,’  ‘Thou coverest with shame,’   ‘put to eternal same,’  ‘brought to disgrace,’  ‘Thou hast confounded,’  ‘Thou indeed bringest,’ and ‘hast Thou surely humiliated’)
  • تَ — Ta — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You, the Almighty God)
  • هٗ — Hoo — Him (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid shown, specified or stated article, thing or person)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
  • مَاۤ — Maa — No (= Absolutely not; no; never)
  • لِ — Lay —  For (= Because of; concerning; due to; for the object, purpose  or reason of; intended for; on account of; regarding; relative to. A/t/a, belonging to; to; towards, ‘will … find’ and ‘shall have’)
  • الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ‏ — Zaa-lay-mee-na — Wrongdoers (= n., pl., Bad people.  Criminals.  Culprits.  Doers of harm, hurt or injury.  Evil-doers.  Polytheists. Transgressors. Those who commit, do, practice, repeat or habitually pursue the evil and cause grievous wrongs to others.  Unfair. Unjust. Violators. Wicked)
  • مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category or several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon)
  • اَنۡصَارٍ — An-saar — Helpers (= n., pl., The word describes the bad like “Accomplices;  back-benchers; henchmen; partners in crime and grime” [as stated in 002:271] and the good like the “Aides; assistants; promoters; supporters – [as stated in 003:053)
