اِنۡ تَجۡتَنِبُوۡا كَبٰٓٮِٕرَ مَا تُنۡهَوۡنَ عَنۡهُ  نُكَفِّرۡعَنۡكُمۡ سَيِّاٰتِكُمۡ وَنُدۡخِلۡـكُمۡ مُّدۡخَلًا كَرِيۡمًا‏  

 

In-tuj-ta-nay-boo-ka-baa-aiy-ra-maa-tun-hao-na-un-ho                                                            No-kuf-fer-un-koom-suy-yay-aa-tay-koom-wa                                                                              Nood-khil-koom-mood-kha-lun-ka-re-maa

 

If you avoid the biggies from it you are forbidden                                                      We will remove from you the evil consequences and                                                      We will enter you with an honorable entry   

 

  • اِنۡ — In — If (= In case; under the circumstances; when; when situation arises; whenever)
  • تَجۡتَنِبُوۡا — Tuj-ta-nay-boo — You avoid (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Discard; dodge; escape; step aside. A/t/a, ‘shun,’ ‘eschew’ and ‘keep away’)
  • كَبٰٓٮِٕرَ — Ka-baa-aiy-ra — Biggies (= n., pl., Grave, great, heinous, massive, serious or severe wrongs, concerns, matters, mistakes, offences, things or transgressions. A/t/a, ‘heinous sins,’ ‘the most heinous,’ ‘the great sins,’ ‘the great (things),’ ‘the more grievous of the things,’ ‘major prohibitions’ and ‘enormities’)
  • مَاۤ — Maa — What (= Al that; whatever; whatsoever; which)
  • تُنۡهَوۡنَ — Toon-hao-na — You are forbidden (= v., pres., pass., pl., 2nd person. Prohibited; stopped)
  • عَنۡ — Un — From (= About; concerning; regarding; relative to)
  • هُ — Ho — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid big sins)
  • نُكَفِّر — No-kuf-fer — We’ll remove (= v., pres., m., pl., 3rd person.. We will deny, efface or prohibit. A/t/a, ‘expel out of you,’ ‘acquit,’ ‘remit,’ ‘expiate,’ ‘pardon’ and ‘wipe out’)
  • عَنۡ — Un — From (= About; concerning; regarding; relative to)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You all men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
  • سَيِّاٰتِ — Suy-yay-aa-tay — Vices (= n., pl., Bad or evil results and consequences; ill deeds; mistakes; sins; wrongs. Stains of bad or evil acts, errors and mistakes. Also, Inequities. Infractions. Misdeeds. Mistakes. Wrongs. A/t/a, ‘minor evils,’ ‘evil deeds,’ ‘evil (inclinations),’ ‘preliminary evil (inclinations),’ ‘(small) sins’ and ‘faults’)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . See كُمۡ  above)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; also; but)
  • نُدۡخِلۡ — Nood-khil — We will enter (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Admit, agree, allow or assent to entry. let; permit)
  • كُمۡ — Koom  — you (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person., You . See كُمۡ  above)
  • مُّدۡخَلًا — Mood-kha-lun — Entry (= n. Admission. Permission to enter. Refers to all actions and situations of a human life. A/t/a, ‘Gate,’ ‘place of,’ ‘Paradise,’ ‘state and place’  and ‘Entrance (i.e. Paradise)’
  • كَرِيۡمًا — Ka-re-maa — Honorable (= adj., Refers to a condition or state, manner, method, person or place of abundant, extreme, generous, great or plenteous of honor and respect. A/t/a, ‘nobel,’ ‘of honour,’ ‘of great honour,’ ‘in honourable manner,’ ‘with all honour’ and ‘noble’)
