The Holy Qor-aan 004:038
اۨلَّذِيۡنَ يَـبۡخَلُوۡنَ وَيَاۡمُرُوۡنَ النَّاسَ بِالۡبُخۡلِ وَيَكۡتُمُوۡنَ مَاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ ؕ وَ اَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ عَذَابًا مُّهِيۡنًا ۚ
Ul-la-ze-na-yub-kha-loo-na-wa-yau-mo-roo-nun-naa-sa-bil-bookh-lay Wa-yuk-to-moo-na-m,aa-aa-taa-ho-mool-laa-ho-min-fudz-lay-he Wa-au-tud-naa-lil-kaa-fay-re-na-azaa-bum-mo-he-naa
Those who are stingy and exhort the people with miserliness And conceal what Allah gave them from His grace must realize that We have prepared a humiliating punishment for the ungrateful
- ٱلَّذِينَ — Ul-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to those in masculine gender including all articles, things, persons or phenomenon. A/t/a, ‘Regarding those who’)
- يَـبۡخَلُوۡنَ — Yub-kha-loo-na — Are stingy (= v, pres., pl., 3rd person. Act meagerly, measly, miserly, niggardly or ungenerously; amass; collect and conceal; hide; hoard; squirrel away; stockpile. A/t/a, ‘hoard their wealth,’ ‘practise niggardliness’ and ‘are niggardly’)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet; whereupon)
- يَاۡمُرُوۡنَ — Yau-mo-roo-na — They exhort (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Bid; guide; encourage; enjoin; exhort; help; instigate; lead; marshal, recommend; steer; urge; usher. A/t/a, ‘counsel’)
- النَّاسَ — Un-naa-sa — The people (= Factions; folks, mankind, groups, men, nations, people or tribes. A/t/a, ‘human beings’)
- بِ — B..(il) — With (= Literally the word بِ means with)
- لۡبُخۡلِ — Bookh-lay — Stinginess (= n., Avariciousness; being measly, miserly or niggardly; miserliness; tightfistedness. Also. not spending in the causes of God. A/t/a, ‘avarice’ and ‘to be niggardly’)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ — Yuk-to-moo-na — Conceal (= v., pres, pl., 3rd person. Deliberately and intentionally hide, keep secret or suppress)
- مَاۤ — Maa — What (= All; that; whatever; whatsoever. A/t/a, ‘riches’)
- اٰتٰ — Aa-taa — Gave (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Awarded; bestowed; blessed; brought; conferred; delivered; donated; entrusted; gifted; granted; handed down; handed down; handed over; laid out. A/t/a, ‘has given’)
- هُمُ — Ho-mo…(ol) — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. Their)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several articles, counts, kind, things, persons or phenomenon)
- فَضۡلِ — Fudz-lay — Grace (= n., s., Abundance; bounty; generosity; gift; goodness; grace; grant. Also giving, granting or gifting of abundance and plenteousness. A/t/a, ‘bounties’ and ‘bounty and grace’)
- هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)

- اَعۡتَدۡ — Au-tud — Prepared (= v., past., 1st person. Arranged; got ready; organized; primed; readied; set up. A/t/a, ‘have in store’ and ‘prepare’ in the present tense verb are not accurate translations because the Holy Qor-aan has used here a verb in the past tense)
- نَآ — Naa — We (= pro., pl., 1st person. Us. Used with God’s name it is the authoritative way a higher-up talks to a subordinate)

- الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ — Kaa-fay-re-na — The ungrateful (= n., pl., 1. Non-appreciating; thankless; unappreciative; who abuse, misuse, refuse, fail to use, or gratefully acknowledge and utilize any of the many God-given blessings, gifts, opportunities or talents provided to them. 2. Deniers; disbelievers; faithless; heretics, infidels; non-believers; rejecters of the Faith; resistors to God; unbelievers)
- عَذَابًا — Azaa-bun — Punishment (= Appropriate, due and fair agony, chastisement, doom, hard task, penalty, recompense; torment, torture or scourge)
- مُّهِيۡنًا — Mo-he-naa — Humiliating (= adj., Abasing; debasing; degrading; demeaning; disgraceful; insulting; mortifying; shameful; unbecoming; undignified )
