The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                       004:046

 

  وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِاَعۡدَآٮِٕكُمۡ‌ؕ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَلِيًّا وَّكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ نَصِيۡرًا

 

Wul-laa-ho-au0la-mo-bay-au-daa-aiy-koom                                                                                  Wa-ka-faa-bil-laa-hay-wa-lee-yun                                                                                                    Wa-ka-faa-bil-laa-hay-na-se-raa

 

Allah is Well Aware of your enemies.                                                                              And Allah has sufficed as a real Friend.                                                                              And Allah has sufficed as a real Helper.

 

  • وَ — Wa…(ul) — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally;                      also; and; but; more over; though; when; while; yet)
  • اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • اَعۡلَمُ — Au-la-mo — Well Aware (= superlative form indicates the greatest, highest or  most and highlights that none more than Him is Aware, Cognizant, Knowledgeable and Well-informed..  A/t/a, ‘has full knowledge,’ ‘knoweth best,’ ‘knows … better than you,’ ‘best knows,’ ‘knows … well’ and ‘knows full well’ but all these are verbs and no translation of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated as a noun or adj)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with. A/t/a, ‘(who are)’ )
  • اَعۡدَآٮِٕ — Au-daa-aiy — Enemies (= n., pl., Adversaries; foes; opponents)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. You all men. Generally this way the Holy Qor-aan addresses both men and women)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
  • كَفٰى — Ka-faa — Has sufficed (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Has been adequate, ample,  appropriate, enough, plenteous, proper, satisfactory, sufficient, suitable or fully capable and in control. A/t/a, ‘you need none else’ and ‘suffices’ which is a translation as a verb in the present tense when the Holy Qor-aan has used it in the past tense)
  • بِ  — B..(il) — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • وَلِيًّا — Wa-lee-yun — Real Friend (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him can aid, help or guard very well. Dearest friend. Friend in need is a friend indeed because he heeds. Earnest, Protecting Sincere, True and well-wishing Friend. Guardian. Comrade. Patron. Protector.  Supporter. A/t/a, ‘to protect’as a verb but that is not an accurate translation of what the Holy Qor-aan has used as a noun)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
  • كَفٰى — Ka-faa — Has sufficed (= v., past., s., 3rd person. See كَفٰى above)
  • بِ — B..(il) — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • نَصِيۡرًا‏ — Na-se-raa — Real Helper (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him has the power and willingness to help. All-Helpful. The Biggest Helper. The One with all, total, perfect and wholesome  Might to effectively help. A/t/a, ‘to help’ as a verb but that is not an accurate translation of what the Holy Qor-aan has used as a noun)
