  وَمَنۡ يَّكۡسِبۡ خَطِيۡٓـــَٔةً اَوۡ اِثۡمًا ثُمَّ يَرۡمِ بِهٖ بَرِيۡٓــًٔـا فَقَدِ احۡتَمَلَ بُهۡتَانًا وَّاِثۡمًا مُّبِيۡنًا ‏

 

Wa-mun-yuk-sib-kha-te-aa-ton-auo-ith-mun                                                                                  Thoom-ma-yur-may-bay-he-ba-re-yun-fa-qa-daih-ta-ma-la                                                      Boh-taa-nun-wa-ith-mun-mo-be-naa

 

Whoever commits a mistake or a sin                                                                                    Then passes on its blame on an innocent person has indeed                                      Loaded himself with a fabrication and an obvious sin

 

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but;  also; more over; though; when; while; yet. A/t/a, ‘But’)
  • مَنۡ — Mun — Whoever (= Anyone; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso)
  • يَّكۡسِبۡ –Yuk-sib — Commits (= v., pres., m., 3rd person. Brings about; commits; does;  earns; perpetrates; pulls off. A/t/a, ‘commits … deliberately’ and ‘committeth’)
  • خَطِيۡٓـــَٔةً — Kha-te-aa-ton — Mistake (= n., Accidental or minor mistake; error; fault;  offense; unintended wrong. A/t/a, ‘delinquency’ and ‘fault’)
  • اَوۡ — Auo — Or (= Alternatively; in substitution)
  • اِثۡمًا — Ith-mun — Sin (= n., Crime; guilt; infraction; illegality; iniquity; injustice; offence; sin; transgression; unjust conduct; wrong. Intentional / premeditated commission of a Prohibition. Blame, accountability or responsibility for an unlawful or unjustifiable conduct for any of the above acts. A/t/a, Crime; sin)
  • ثُمَّ — Thoom-ma — Then (= After that; further more; subsequently; thereafter)
  • يَرۡمِ — Yur-may — Passes on (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Accuses; alleges; casts blames; charges; indicts; imputes; insinuates; strikes; throws. A/t/a, ‘throws the blame,‘ ‘throweth (the blame) thereof,’ ‘imputes … (for the sake of his own defence)’ and ‘throws’)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with. A/t/a, ‘of it’ and ‘thereof’)
  • هٖ — He — It (= pro., s., m; 3rd person., thing or article stated earlier)
  • بَرِيۡٓــًٔـا — Bre-yun — Innocent (= n., Not accountable, answerable, blame-worthy, liable or responsible. Also, innocent or unconnected. A/t/a, ‘one That is innocent,’ ‘innocent,’ ‘innocent person’ and ‘someone innocent’)
  • فَ — Fa — Then (= After all this; at the end; consequently; finally; hence; so; thereafter; therefore; thus)
  • قَدِ –Qa-dai(h) — Surely (= This word lays emphasis by repeating the meanings of the above word. See our Commentary titled as the “2 Words of Emphasis used together Multiply Effect.”
  • احۡتَمَلَ — Aih-ta-ma-la — Loaded (= v., past., m., 3rd person. Burdened; carried; loaded; placed or put weight on. A/t/a, ‘hath burdened  himself.’ But ‘bears the burden of,’ ‘carries (on himself),’ ‘takes on the burden of,’ ‘bears the burden,’ ‘burdens’ and ‘bears the guilt’ have translated in the present tense what the Holy Qor-aan stated in the past tense)

  • بُهۡتَانًا — Boh-taa-nun –Fabrication (= n., Absolutely evil, false, frivolous, malicious, malignant, total and wrongful accusation, allegation, blame, libel, calumny, defamation, denigration, fabrication, insult, falsehood, lie, misrepresentation, slander, slight, slur or smear, vilification. A/t/a, ‘falsehood’ and ‘calumny’)
  • وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • اِثۡمًا‌ — Ith-mun — Sin (= n., An act of disobedience; doing wrong; sinfulness committed continually, incessantly and repeatedly. A/t/a, ‘sin,’ ‘sinfulness,’ ‘wrong’  and ‘unjust’)
  • مُّبِيۡنًا‏ — Mo-bee-na — Obvious (= adj., Apparent; clear; evident; flagrant; glaring; gross; lucid; manifest; obvious; open; palpable; patent, unambiguous; unmistakable. A situation that is avowed, cleared, declared, marked or sworn to be without any blemish, hindrance or obstruction which could cloud or fog the view. Also as an adv: clearly; evidently; grossly; manifestly; obviously; openly)
