 وَمَنۡ يَّعۡمَلۡ مِنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنۡ ذَكَرٍ اَوۡ اُنۡثٰى وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٌ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَدۡخُلُوۡنَ الۡجَـنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُوۡنَ نَقِيۡرًا‏

 

Wa-mun-yau-mul-maynus-sua-lay-haa-tay                                                                                  Min-za-ka-rin-auo-oon-thaa-wa-ho-wa-moe-may-noon                                                              Fa-o-laa-aiy-ka-yud-kho-loo-nul-jun-na-ta                                                                                    Wa-laa-yooz-la-moo-na-na-qee-raa

 

Whoever practices any from the righteous deeds                                                Among a male or a female and is a believer                                                                  Then they all will enter the Paradise                                                                              And will not be wronged the least bit

           

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
  • مَنۡ — Mun — Who (= Anyone; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso)
  • يَّعۡمَلۡ — Yau-mul — Does (= v., pres., s., m., 3rd person. Acts; performs; practices; does; renders; works. A/t/a, ‘do’ and ‘doth’)
  • مِنَ — May-n(us) — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several
  • الصّٰلِحٰتِ — Sua-lay-haa-tay — Good deeds (= n., pl., f. Acts, deeds, performances, practices or works which are commendable, good, holy, noble, pious, proper, righteous, upright or virtuous. Appropriate actions. Proper practices. Worthy works. A/t/a, ‘deeds of righteousness,’ ‘righteous good deeds,’ ‘good deeds’ and ‘good works’)

                                    The next four (4) words are the same as in the verses 003:196

  • مِنۡ — Min — From among (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several; whether. A/t/a, ‘Be’)
  • ذَكَرٍ — Za-ka-rin –Male (= n., Man; human being in masculine gender)
  • اَوۡ — Auo — Or (= Alternatively; in substitution)
  • اُنۡثٰى‌‌ — Oon-thaa — Female (= Person of feminine gender; woman)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • هُوَ — Ho-wa — He (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. He; him; it. Aforesaid person. A/t/a, ‘he or she‘ and ‘provided he (or she)’ 
  • مُؤۡمِنٌ — Moe-may-noon — He believer  (= n., s., m., One who follows the Holy Qor-aan;  who has embraced Islaam; a Moslem. A/t/a, ‘have faith’ and ‘is a (true) believer [in the Oneness of Allah (Muslims)’
  • فَ — Fa — Then (= After all this; at the end; consequently; finally; hence; resultantly; so; thereafter; therefore; thus)
  • اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ — O-laa-aiy-ka — They all (= Acts; facts, items, persons or things. A/t/a, ‘such,’  ‘they’ and ‘it is those’)  
  • يَدۡخُلُوۡنَ — Yud-kho-loo-na(ul) — They enter (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Arrive. Gain admittance. Get admitted or allowed in. Reach. A/t/a, ‘such shall enter,’ ‘shall enter’ and ‘will enter.’ But ‘shall be admitted’ is an expression in the passive voice and so an inaccurate translation of a verb in the active voice)
  • الۡجَـنَّةَ — Jun-na-ta — The Paradise (= n., s., Big grove; Coppice. Thicket. See Commentary The Paradise. A/t/a, ‘Heaven,’ ‘Garden’ and ‘the gardens of Paradise’)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • لَا — Laa — Not (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception. A/t/a, ‘not the least’)
  • يُظۡلَمُوۡنَ — Yooz-la-moo-na — Be wronged (= v. pres., pass., pl., 3rd person Dealt unjustly; done or shown injustice; given diminished return; harmed; paid less than due, paid less than full; shorted; transgressed. A/t/a, ‘injustice Will be done,’ ‘will .. be dealt  with,’ ‘wronged,’ ‘treated unjustly,’ ‘shall .. be deal unjustly’ and ‘injustice … shall be done to them.’  But translating this passive voice verb into an active voice verb as ‘they shall … suffer injustice’ is inaccurate)
  • نَقِيۡرًا — Na-qe-raa — The least bit (= n., Insignificant, miniscule, practically worthless thing of little value like a penny. Smallest amount like a bit, iota, jot or whit. Tiniest bit. Value of a quantity which could fill the tiny little curvature on a date-stone. Most  authors have translated this word in verses 004:054 and 004:125 with different verbiage. They have translated the word for this verse as follows — ‘the least,’ ‘a whit unjustly,’ ‘a whit,’ ‘the dint in a date-stone,’ ‘(so much as) the groove in a date-stone,’ ‘even as much as the little hollow in the back of a date-stone’ and ‘(spec on the back of date stone’)
