The Holy Qor-aan 004:141
وَقَدۡ نَزَّلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِى الۡـكِتٰبِ اَنۡ اِذَا سَمِعۡتُمۡ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ يُكۡفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسۡتَهۡزَاُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقۡعُدُوۡا مَعَهُمۡ حَتّٰى يَخُوۡضُوۡا فِىۡ حَدِيۡثٍ غَيۡرِهٖۤ ۖ اِنَّكُمۡ اِذًا مِّثۡلُهُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ جَامِعُالۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ وَالۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ فِىۡ جَهَـنَّمَ جَمِيۡعَاۨ ۙ
Wa-qud–nuz-za-la-alai-koom-fil-kay-taa-bay Un-eza-sa-mae-toom-aa-yaa-til-laa-hay Yook-fa-ro-bay-haa-wa-yoos-tah-za-o-bay-haa Fa-laa-tuq-o-do-ma-aa-hoom-hut-taa Ya-khoo-dzoo-fee-ha-de-thin-ghai-ray-he In-na-koom-ezaa-mith-la-hoom
In-nul-laa-ha-jaa-may-ool-mo-naa-fay-qee-na Wul-kaa-fay-re-na-ja-hun-na-ma-ja-me-aa
And surely laid down for you in the Book was That when you have heard the signs of Allah That they are being denied and they are being derided Then you do not sit with them until They change into a talk other than that Because then you surely will be like them
Surely Allah is the Assembler of hypocrites And disbelievers in Hell, all together
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- قَدۡ — Qud — Surely (= This word lays emphasis. Absolutely; categorically; assuredly; certainly; clearly; definitely; specially; doubtlessly; obviously; for sure; in spite of; positively; specifically; verily; with no doubt whatsoever. A/t/a, ‘Already’ and ‘indeed’)
- نَزَّلَ — Nuz-za-la — Laid down (= v., past., passive v., pl., 3rd person. Inspired; laid down; lowered; revealed; sent down. A/t/a, ‘laid … commandment,’ ‘instructed’ and ‘has already been revealed.’ But ‘has revealed … (the commandment)’ and ‘hath … revealed’ are translations in the active voice and not of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated in the passive voice)
- عَلَيۡ — Alai — For (= Above; against; for; on top of; over; upon. A/t/a, ‘to’ and ‘unto’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. Generally this is the way the Holy Qor-aan addresses men and women)
- فِى — F…(il) — In (= About; concerning; in reference, regarding relative to. Also, amidst; among; belonging; contained or inside a duration, event, time, place, period, thing or situation)
- الۡـكِتٰبِ — Kay-taa-bay — The Book (= Code; Divine Regulations; scriptures. God’s Eternal Message that man penned down in black and white in a written form. See 002:003. A/t/a, ‘this Book’ and ‘the Book (this Qur’an)’
- اَنۡ — Un — That (= So that)
- اِذَا — Ezaa — When (= At the time or event; behold; call to mind; consider; now that; ponder over; recall; reflect, remember or think of the time, event, occasion, opportunity or time)
- سَمِعۡ — Sa-mae — Have heard (= v., past., pl., 2nd person. Attended; heard; listened. A/t/a, ‘hear’ but that verb in the present tense is not a translation of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated in the past tense)
- تُمۡ — Toom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. See كُمۡ above)
- اٰيٰتِ — Aa-ya-t(il) — Signs (= n. Plural of the following words in the singular. 1. Manifestation; message; narrative; revelation; verse. 2. Command; direction; evidence; law; order. 3. Argument, corroboration, indication, lesson, part, pointer, portent; portion, proof, sign, symbol, token or testimonials about god’s truthfulness)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- يُكۡفَرُ — Yook-fa-ro — Denied (= v., past., pass., pl., 3rd person. Belittled; denied; denied; diminished; disbelieved; ignored; minimized; reduced; refused; rejected or trampled over. A/t/a, ‘held in contempt’ and ‘being disbelieved in’)
- بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ means with)
- هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to aforesaid group)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- يُسۡتَهۡزَاُ Yoos-tah-za-o — Derided (= v., past., pass., pl., 3rd person. Disrespected; ridiculed; humiliated; insulted; joked; kicked around; knocked down; laughed at; mocked at; abused; affronted; disparaged; put down; belittled; debased; decried; degraded; scoffed at; demeaned; derided; disgraced; kidded; slighted)
- بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ means with)
- هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to aforesaid group
- فَ — Fa — Then (= After all this; at the end; consequently; finally; hence; so; thereafter; therefore; thus)
- لَا — Laa — Do not (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all. A/t/a, ‘must not’)
- تَقۡعُدُوۡا — Tuq-o-do — Sit (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Attend; confer; join; socialize. A/t/a, ‘ye sit,’ ‘sit,’ ‘continue’ and ‘sit and listen’)
- مَعَ — Ma-aa — Along with (= Along with; in the company of; goes with)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3 rd person. Those men. A/t/a, ‘them (who disbelieve and mock),’ ‘those who indulge in such talk,’ ‘in that company’ and ‘ such (absurd people)’
- حَتّٰى — Hut-ta –Until (= By the end of the period or term; till the time)
- يَخُوۡضُوۡا — Ya-khoo-dzoo — Change (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Avert, change, divert, engage, engross, indulge, move over, return, revert or turn away from talking accusatory, critical, derogatory or vain allegations and bad things. A/t/a, ‘turn,’ ‘enter’ and ‘engage’)
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Amidst. Among. Contained or inside a duration, event, place, period, person, phenomenon, situation, thing or time. See Note at 002:028)
- حَدِيۡثٍ –Ha-dee-thin — Talk (= n., Account; conversation; discourse; discussion; explanation; history; narration; news; report; saying; story; tale; talk; tiding. A/t/a, ‘Theme’ and ‘topic’)
- غَيۡرِ — Ghai-ray — Other than (= Besides; else; excluding; not; other than; out of; without. A/t/a, ‘different,’ ‘other,’ ‘other than that’ and ‘some other’)
- هٖ — He — It (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to aforesaid talk)
- اِنَّ — In-na — Certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly; indeed; positively; really surely; truly; verily. A/t/a, ‘otherwise,’ ‘or else’ and ‘(if you stayed with them) certainly’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You. See كُمۡ above. A/t/a, ‘ye,’ ‘you will be’ and ‘you shall yourself become’)

- مِّثۡلُ — Mith-lo –Like (= Duplicate; identical in nature; like; same way; resembling; similar; Of the same kind, looks or type)

- اِنَّ — In-na(ul) — Certainly (= Absolutely; definitely; doubtlessly. See اِنَّ above)
- ٱللَّهَ — Laa-ha — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- جَامِعُ — Jaa-me-oo..(l) — Assembler (= n., Bagger; collector; gatherer; herder. A/t/a, ‘will collect,’ ‘will gather,’ ‘will assemble’ and ‘going to assemble’ but that statement as a verb is not a translation of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated as a noun)
- الۡمُنٰفِقِيۡنَ — Mo-naa-fay-qee-na — Hypocrites (= n., pl., Two-faced persons who say or state something but do something different)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ — Kaa-fay-re-na — The ungrateful (= n., pl., Disbelievers. See Commentary Believe and Disbelieve. A/t/a, ‘those who defy Faith’)
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= Inside a duration, event, time or place. See فِىۡ above)
- جَهَنَّمَ — Ja-hunna-ma — Hell (= Blazing Fire. Purgatory; Gehenna; hell-fire. Also the hellish life in this world)
- جَمِيۡعًا — Ja-me-aa — All together (= adv., Altogether; completely; entirely; totally; wholly. Also, accumulation, amassing, assembly or collection; every one; everything; in large numbers; in multitudes. A/t/a, ‘all together,’ ‘one and all’ and ‘gather together’)
