The Holy Qor-aan 004:172
يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوۡا فِىۡ دِيۡـنِكُمۡ وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا عَلَى اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الۡحَـقَّ ؕ اِنَّمَا الۡمَسِيۡحُ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُوۡلُ اللّٰهِ وَكَلِمَتُهٗ ۚ اَ لۡقٰٮهَاۤ اِلٰى مَرۡيَمَ وَرُوۡحٌ مِّنۡهُ فَاٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖ ۚ وَلَا تَقُوۡلُوۡا ثَلٰثَةٌ ؕ اِنْتَهُوۡا خَيۡرًا لَّـكُمۡ ؕ اِنَّمَا اللّٰهُ اِلٰـهٌ وَّاحِدٌ ؕ سُبۡحٰنَهٗۤ اَنۡ يَّكُوۡنَ لَهٗ وَلَدٌ ۘ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَكِيۡلًا
Ya-ah-lul-kay-taa-bay-laa-tugh-loo-fee-de-nay-koom Wa-laa-ta-qoo-loo-alul-laa-hay-il-lul-huq
In-na-mul-ma-see-ho-ee-sub-no-mur-ya-ma Ra-soo-lool-laa-hay-wa-ka-lay-ma-ta-hoo Ul-qaa-haa-elaa-mur-ya-ma-wa-roo-hoom-min-ho
Fa-aa-may-noo-bil-laa-hay-wa-ro-so-lay-he Wa-laa-ta-qoo-loo-tha-laa-tha-ta In-ta-hoo-khai-roon-la-koom
In-na-mul-laa-ho-elaa-hoon-waa-hid Soob-haa-na-hoo-un-ya-koo-na-la-hoo-wa-la-doon La-hoo-maa-fis-sa-maa-waa-tay-wa-maa-fil-urdz Wa-ka-faa-bil-laa-hay-va-kee-laa

Listen People of the Book! Do not cross the line in your religion And do not say about Allah anything but the Truth.
Certainly Messiah Jesus son of Mary was A Messenger of Allah and His word He sent it to Mary and the Holy Spirit from Him.
So believe in Allah and His Messengers. And do not say, “Three.” Stop that. It’s better for you.
Surely Allah is the One and the only One God. Far above is His holiness to having a son. For Him is all in heaven and all in earth. And Allah has sufficed as the Care-Giver
- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
- اَهۡلَ — Ah-la(ul) — People of (= Believers; citizens; folks; friends; masters; owners, people; population; supporters; those belonging to; those entrusted to; users)
- الۡكِتٰبِ — Ul-kay-taa-bay — The Book (= n., The Divine Directive of Commands, Prohibitions and Regulations. A/t/a, ‘the Scripture,’ ‘the Scripture (Christians)’ and ‘earlier Scripture.’ See 002:003)
- لَا — Laa — Do not (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception)
- تَغۡلُوۡا — Tugh-loo — Cross the line (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Act or behave dishonestly or illegally. Add to or subtract from. Breach trust. Cheat. Cross the line. Deceive. Exaggerate. Exceed limit. Falsify. Can also mean misappropriate, steal or rob . A/t/a, ‘go beyond the limits (of propriety),’ ‘go to extremes,’ ‘commit excess,’ ‘exaggerate,’ ‘exceed limit,’ ‘exceed … the limits’ and ‘transgress the bounds)
- فِىۡ — Fee — In (= About. concerning; reference, regarding, relative to; in the matter of. Also in a duration, event, time place, period, thing or situation. See Note 002:028)
- دِيۡـنِ — De-nay — Religion (= n., Belief system. Divine Rules. Faith. See Commentary Islam – 106 – Religion Established Nation … )
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. Generally this is the way the Holy Qor-aan addresses men and women)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- لَا — Laa — Do not (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not. See لَا above)
- تَقُوۡلُوۡا — Ta-qoo-loo — Say (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Allege; announce; assert; attribute; declare; say; speak; state; utter. A/t/a, ‘utter aught,’ ‘say … aught,’ ‘say anything’ and ‘say… anything’)
- عَلٰى — Ala…(ul) — About (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon. A/t/a, ‘of’ and ‘regarding’)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- اِلَّا — Il-laa — Except (= Apart from; but; besides; excluding; save; unless it be)
- الۡحَـقَّ — Ul-huq-qa — The Truth (= Appropriate; equitable; exactness; fair; fairness; just; just cause; justification; justice; justified conduct; preciseness; proper; reasonableness; suitable. Right. The word is also used to mean Islam, the Right Faith. A/t/a, ‘which is perfectly true’ and ‘the Truth’)
- اِنَّ — In-na — Certainly (= Absolutely; clearly; definitely; doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; positively; really; surely; truly; verily. A/t/a, ‘Was (no more than)’ and’only’)
- مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever. A/t/a, ‘no more than’ and ‘only’)
- الۡمَسِيۡحُ — Ma-see-ho — Messiah (= The expected deliverer and king of the Jews)
- عِيۡسٰى — Ee-saa…(ub) — Jesus (= The name of a Messenger / Prophet of Allah. See also 002:088, 002:254, 003:046, 004:158, 004:172, etc)
- ابۡنُ — (U)b-no — Son of (= Child; off-spring)
- مَرۡيَمَ — Mur-ya-ma — Mary (= The mother of Jesus Christ)
- رَسُوۡلُ — Ra-soo-lo…(ol) — Messenger (= n., s., Apostle; God’s messenger; prophet; sage; saint)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- كَلِمَتُ — Ka-lay-ma-to — Word (= n., s, Sign. Affirmation; announcement; assignment; command; declaration; inspiration; message; phrase; prayer; promise; proof. pronouncement; revelation; speech; statement. What combines many words to
form a message. A/t/a ‘word which,’ ‘a fulfilment of … word,’ ‘(a fulfilment) of … word,’ ‘the fulfilment of glad tiding’ and ‘Word (‘Be’ — and he was)’ - هٗ — Hoo — His(= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
- اَ لۡقٰ — Ul-qaa — He spoke (= v., past., s., m., 3rd person. Assigned; cast; inspired; lowered; put; sent down; spoke. A/t/a, ‘bestowed,’ ‘conveyed unto,’ ‘conveyed to’ and ‘communicated’)
- هَا — Haa — It (= pro., s., f., 3rd person., Refers to aforesaid group)
- اِلَى — Elaa — To (= In the direction of; to; towards)
- مَرۡيَمَ — Mur-ya-ma — Mary (= The mother of Jesus Christ)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- رُوۡحٌ — Roo-hoon — Spirit (= Soul; ethereal being that human generally can’t see or touch. A metaphysical essence inside living humans. A/t/a, ‘mercy,’ ‘a spirit’ and ‘a spirit (Ruh)’
- مِنۡ — Min — From (= Among, from or out of the class or category of several. A/t/a, ‘proceeding From’ and ‘created by’)

A/t/a, ‘(Far Exalted is He) above,’ ‘Far be it from His glory,’ ‘Far it is removed from His transcendent majesty,’ ‘Far is it from His Holiness,’ ‘Holy is he far above,’ ‘His Holiness brooks not,’ ‘He is Holy. Far above,’ ‘Glory be to Him! High Exalted is He above,’ ‘Glorified … (Far exalted)’ and ‘Allah forbid’)
- هٗ — Hoo — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
