The Holy Qor-aan 005:022
يٰقَوۡمِ ادۡخُلُوا الۡاَرۡضَ الۡمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِىۡ كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ وَلَا تَرۡتَدُّوۡا عَلٰٓى اَدۡبَارِكُمۡ فَتَـنۡقَلِبُوۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ
Yaa-qao-mid-kho-lool-ur-dzul-mo-qad-da-sa-tul-la-te Ka-ta-bul-laa-ho-la-koom-wa-laa-tur-ta-doo Alaa-ud-baa-ray-koom-fa-tun-qa-lay-boo-khaa-say-ree-n
My people! Enter the Holy Land that Allah has ordained for you and do not turn On your backs for then you will turn into losers
- يٰۤ — Yaa — Listen (= Be attentive; hearken; pay attention; O!)
- قَوۡمٍ — Qao-may — My people (= n., s., Addressees; attendees; followers; folks; nation; nation; people; tribe. A/t/a, ‘my people’)
- ادۡخُلُوۡا — Ood-kha-loo — Enter (= v., pres, pl., 2nd person. Come in; go in; move or walk in; proceed to. A/t/a, ‘go into’)
- الۡاَرۡضَ الۡمُقَدَّسَةَ — Ul-ur-dzul-mo-qud-da-sa-ta … (ul) — The Holy Land (= Proper Noun. Combination of two words. The first is الۡاَرۡضَ (Ul-ur-dza) that means land, area, country, earth, ground, soil or territory. The second is الۡمُقَدَّ سَةَ (Mo-qud-da-sa-ta) that means sacred, holy or anointed. The term refers to the Jerusalem area, Holy Land or ‘holy land (Palestine)’
- ٱلَّتِى — Al-la-tee — That (= s., f., 3rd person. Used for to anything in female gender)
- كَتَبَ — Ka-ta-ba — Ordained (= v., past., s. 3rd person. Adopted; decreed; directed; imposed; mandated; made a rule; prescribed; reserved; settled; set up; taken. A/t/a, ‘prescribed’ and ‘assigned’)
- اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
- لَ — La — For (= For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; concerning; regarding; relative to. A/t/a, ‘unto’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. Generally this is the way the Holy Qor-aan addresses men and women)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- لَا — Laa — No (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception)
- تَرۡتَدُّوۡا — Tur-ta-do — Turn (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Return; revert. A/t/a, ‘turn’)
- عَلٰى — Alaa — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon)
- اَدۡبَارِ — Ud-baa-ray — Backs (= n., pl., The back or posterior which is the ugliest part of any human, vertebra or even a nation’s body. See Note Note 004:048. A/t/a, ‘ignominiously,’ ‘in flight,’ ‘back’ and ‘backs’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. Seev كُمۡ above) )
- فَ — Fa — Then (= After all this; at the end; consequently; finally; hence; in conclusion; resultantly; so; thereafter; therefore; thus)
- تَـنۡقَلِبُوۡا — Tun-qa-lay-boo — You will turn (= v., pres., 2nd person., Go back; recant; return; reverse; revert; turn around; turn back. A/t/a, ‘Will ye be overthrown,’ ‘turn back,’ ‘you will turn,’ ‘you turn,’ ‘you shall be’ and ‘you will be returned’)
- الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ — Khaa-say-ree-n — The Losers (= n., Real and total failures; those who loose or are lost. A/t/a, ‘To your own ruin,’ ‘losers’ and ‘ruined)
