The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                                   006:022

 

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦۤ‌ۗ إِنَّهُ ۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

 

Wa  mun  uz-la-mo  mim-may  nif-ta-raa  aa-lul  laa-hay  ka-zay-bun                                  Auo  kuz-za  bay  aa-yaa-tay  he                                                                                                    Inna  hoo  laa  yoof-lay-hoo  zaa-lay-moo-n 

 

And who is more unfair than one who concocted a lie against Allah,                     Or lied with His signs?                                                                                                    Certainly, He does not let the wrongdoers prosper.

 

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)

Phrase Mun uz-la-mo mim-ma nif-ta-raa … in next 7 words is repeated in 006:094, 006:145, etc.

  • مَنۡ — Mun — Who (= Anyone; whoever; whom; whomever; whoso. A/t/a, ’who’ and ‘who is’)
  • اَظۡلَمُ — Uz-la-mo — More unfair (= adj., Greater wrong doer. Guilty of a more cruel, unfair, unjustwicked, wrongful or worse act, behavior or conduct. A/t/a, ‘guilty of greater injustice’ which is a noun, or verbs as in ‘doth greater wrong,’ ‘doth more wrong,’ ‘does a greater evil’ and ‘does more aggression and wrong’ are no translation of the adjective that the Holy Qor-aan has used)
  • مِمَّنِ  — Mim-ma-n … (if) — From who (= Combination of two words. The first word  مِنۡ (min) means ‘among, from or out of the class, category, count, kind or several persons or things. The second word  مَنۡ  (mun) means ‘anyone; who, whoever, whom. A/t/a, ‘than he’ and ‘than the man)
  • افۡتَرٰى — If-tra — Concocted (= v., past., s., 3rd person. He padded up lies to appear true.  This word shows people had pursued for bad a result and not for any good outcome; see details in 003:025. A/t/a, ‘fabricates,’  inventeth,’ ‘invents’ and ‘forges’ with a verb in the present tense but that is no translation of what the Holy Qor-aan described with a verb in the past tense)
  • عَلٰى — Ala … (ul) — On (= About; above; against; before; during; for; on; on top of; over; to; upon. A/t/a, ‘in the name of,’ ‘and attributes it to God’ and ‘about’)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • كَذِبًا — Ka-zay-bun — A lie (= adj., Falsehood; fib; tall tale; untruth; white lie)
  • اَوۡ — Auo — Or else (= Alternatively; in substitution)
  • كَذَّبَ — Kuz-za-ba — Belied (= v., past., s., 3rd person.  Belied; decried; disbelieved; falsified; gave a lie; lied; misrepresented; rejected the truth; stated the untruth; treated as a liar. A/t/a, ‘denieth,’ ‘gives the lie,’ ‘rejecteth,’ ‘rejects … as falsehood,’ ‘treats … as lies,’ ‘cries lies to,’ ‘disbelieves,’ ‘denies’ and ‘rejects’ stating in the present tense is no translation of the past tense that the Holy Qor-aan has used)
  • بِ  — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • اٰيٰتِ — Aa-ya-tay — Signs (= n., pl of … An argument, corroboration, indication, insinuation, pointer, portent, sign, suggestion, symbol or token. A/t/a, ‘Signs,’ ‘messages,’ ‘revelations’ and ’Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc?’)
  • هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty Allah. A/t/a, ‘His’)

The rule of universal application eternalized as follows in verses 006:022 and 039:033 is worded differently at the ends verses 003:201, 005:036005:091005:101, 062:011, etc.

  • اِنَّ — In-na — Certainly (= Absolutely; certainly, clearly, decidedly; definitely;  doubtlessly; indeed; positively; really; surely; truly; ultimately; verily. A/t/a, ‘Lo!’)
  • هٗ — Hoo — He (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty Allah)
  • لَا — Laa — Does not (= Naught; neither; never; none; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception)
  • يُفۡلِحُ — Yoof-lay-ho … (oz) — Prosper (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. Succeed; win. A/t/a, ‘will … be successful,’ ‘shall … be successful,’ ‘shall … prosper’ and ‘attain the goal’ )
  • ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ  — Zaa-lay-moo-n — The wrongdoers (= n., pl., Bad people.  Criminals.  Culprits.  Doers of harm, hurt or injury.  Evildoers.  Polytheists. Transgressors. Those who commit, do, practice, repeat or habitually pursue the evil and cause grievous wrongs to others.  Unfair. Unjust. Violators. Wicked – A/t/a, ‘wrongdoers,’ ‘wrong-doers,’ ‘the unjust,’ ‘Zalimin (polytheists and wrongdoers’ and ‘evildoers’)
