The Holy Qor-aan 006:061
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يَتَوَفّٰٮكُمۡ بِالَّيۡلِ وَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُمۡ بِالنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَـبۡعَثُكُمۡ فِيۡهِ لِيُقۡضٰٓى اَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّىۚ ثُمَّ اِلَيۡهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
Wa-ho-wul-la-zee-ya-ta-wuf-faa-koom-bil-lai-lay Wa-yau-la-mo-maa-ja-rah-toom-bin-na-haa-ray Thoom-ma-yub-aa-tho-koom-fee-hay Lay-yooq-dzaa-aa-ja-loon-mo-sum-mun Thoom-ma-alai-hay-mur-jay-o-koom Thoom-ma-yo-nub-bay-o-koom-bay-maa-koon-toom-tau-ma-loo-n
And it is Him who reaches you at night, And knows what you did by the day. Then He resurrects you in it So that the named term be filled. Then to Him is your return. Then He tells you with what you used to do.

- يَتَوَفّٰ — Ya-ta-wuf-faa — Reaches (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Completes, concludes or fulfills a phase. Brings, causes, generates or induces sleep that is like death. Makes the soul depart. Passes away. A/t/a, ‘doth take … souls,’ ‘takes … souls into custody,’ ‘takes … souls,’ ‘take … soul,’ ‘recalls … souls,’ ‘makes … sleep like the dead’ and ‘gathereth’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. The Holy Qor-aan addresses men and women jointly this way generally)
- بِ — Bay … (il) — With (= Literally the word بِ means with. A/t/a, ‘by’ and ‘at’)
- الَّيۡلِ — Lai-lay — The night (= n., s., Absence of sunlight; the opposite of a sunlit day; period of darkness between the sunset and next sunrise. Nighttime; nightly hours. A/t/a, ‘night (in sleep),’ ‘night’ and ‘night (when you are asleep)’
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ above)
- يَعۡلَمُ — Yau-la-mo — He knows (= v., pre. s., 3rd person. Is aware. Has the information and knowledge. A/t/a, ‘knows,’ ‘knoweth,’ ‘knowing,’ ‘hath, knowledge’ and ‘has knowledge’)
- مَاۤ — Maa — All that (= What; whatever; whatsoever. A/t/a, ‘all that’ and ‘that which’)

- كُنۡـتُمۡ — Koon-toom — You used to (= pro., pl., m., 2nd person. It is a combination of two words. The first word is كُنۡ which means used to, have or had been since the past.
