The Holy Qor-aan 006:072
قُلۡ اَنَدۡعُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَنۡفَعُنَا وَلَا يَضُرُّنَا وَنُرَدُّ عَلٰٓى اَعۡقَابِنَا بَعۡدَ اِذۡ هَدٰٮنَا اللّٰهُ كَالَّذِى اسۡتَهۡوَتۡهُ الشَّيٰطِيۡنُ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ حَيۡرَانَ ؕ لَـهٗۤ اَصۡحٰبٌ يَّدۡعُوۡنَهٗۤ اِلَى الۡهُدَى ائۡتِنَا ؕ قُلۡ اِنَّ هُدَى اللّٰهِ هُوَ الۡهُدٰى ؕ وَاُمِرۡنَا لِنُسۡلِمَ لِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ
Qool-aa-nud-oo-min-do-nil-laa-hay-maa Laa-yun-fa-o-naa-wa-laa-ya-dzoo-ro-naa Wa-no-rud-do-alaa-au-qaa-bay-naa Bau-da-iz-ha-daa-nul-laa-ho Kul-la-ziss-tah-wut-hoosh-sha-yaa-tee-no Fil-ur-dzay-hai-raa-na
La-hoo-us-haa-boon-yud-oo-na-hoo-elul-ho-dau-tay-naa Qool-in-nul-ho-dul-laa-hay-ho-wul-ho-daa Wa-o-mir-naa-lay-noos-lay-ma-lay-rub-bil-aa-la-meen
You say: “Shall we pray other than Allah to what Cannot benefit us and cannot harm us And we turn on our heels After Allah has guided us aright Like him whom the satanic folks have seduced To a state of confusion in the world?”
He has friends call him, “For guidance come to us.” You say, “Surely Allah’s guidance is the real Guidance And We are commanded for submitting to the Lord Provident to the Universe”

The second word دُوۡنِ (do-nay) means besides, beyond, except, excluding or save. Jointly the two words mean apart from, exclusive of, other than, instead of, in place of, in preference to, rather than,’ to the exclusion of. - اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)

- لَا — Laa — Cannot (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception. A/t/a, ‘neither’)
- يَنۡفَعُ — Yun-fa-o — Benefit (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Is advantageous; benefits; brings good; does good; helps; makes or shows profit. A/t/a, ‘good,’ ‘profits,’ ‘profiteth,’ ‘profit,’ ‘benefit’ and ‘help’)
- نَآ — Naa — Us (= pro., pl., 1st person. Our; We; Us)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)

- بَعۡدَ — Bau-da — After (= After; afterwards; subsequent to; succeeding)

- هَدٰٮ — Ha-daa — Guided (= v., past., m., s. 3rd person. Coddled on correct course; directed accurately towards the best way; gave the best direction; guided to and led on the linier lines; put on the proper path; showed the right road. - اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)

- اسۡتَهۡوَتۡ — Iss-tah-wut — Seduced (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Lustfully led in wrong direction. Longingly fanned with ego, vanity and vain thoughts. Sensually incited. Sultrily misled. - الشَّيٰطِيۡنُ — Sha-yaa-te-no — The satanic (= n., pl., Plural of Satan. Bad or false deities, friends and people. Evil spirited companions, hypocrites, idolators, polytheists, rebels, ringleaders and wicked. A/t/a, ‘the evil ones,’ ‘rebellious,’ ‘devils,’ ‘satans’ and ‘Shayatn (devils)’
- فِىۡ — F…(il) — In (= In the instant case stating ‘On earth’ is more appropriate See Note at 002:028. A/t/a, ‘through’)
- الۡاَرۡضِ — Ul-ur-dzay — The world (= Area; country; earth; ground; land; soil; territory. Also, life on earth, nation; people or society in general. A/t/a, ‘land’ and ‘here and there’)
- حَيۡرَانَ — Hai-raan — Confusion (= adj., The state of having been bewildered, confounded, confused, perplexed, surprised and unclear. A/t/a, ‘left bewildered,’ ‘wandering bewildered,’ ‘leaving him bewildered,’ ‘(leaving him) utterly bewildered,’ ‘bewilderment,’ ‘bewilderment … he being confused,’ ‘blunder aimlessly’ and ‘in confusion’)

- هُوَ — Ho-wa … (ul) — It is (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Him. Refers to to the Guidance)
- الۡهُدٰى — Ho-daa — The Guidance (= n., See الۡهُدَى above. A/t/a, ‘(only) guidance,’ ‘(true) guidance,’ ‘true guidance,’ ‘the Guidance,’ ‘the only perfect guidance’ and ‘the only guidance’)

- اُمِرۡ — O-mir — Commanded (= v., pres., pass., pl., 3rd person. Charged; commanded; decreed; directed; instructed; mandated; ordered. A/t/a, ‘commanded (by Him)’)

The next two words are repeated many times starting with 001:002
- رَبِّ — Rub-b..(il) — Lord Provident (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all creatures. Cherisher. Creator. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
- الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ — Aa-la-meen –The Universe (= n., pl., As an attribute of God Almighty the word implies no limits. It means the Universe, all His creations, all that exists in whole Universe, all that has life, and Mankind. See Note 001:002. A/t/a, ‘the worlds,’ ‘all the worlds,’ ‘creation’ and ‘Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists’)
