The Holy Qor-aan 006:097
فَالِقُ الۡاِصۡبَاحِۚ وَ جَعَلَ الَّيۡلَ سَكَنًا وَّالشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ حُسۡبَانًا ؕ ذٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيۡرُ الۡعَزِيۡزِ الۡعَلِيۡمِ
Faa-lay-qool-iss-baa-ha-wa Ja-aa-lul-lai-la-sa-ka-nun-wa(ush) Ush-sham-sa-wul-qa-ma-ra-hoo-baa-naa Za-lay-ka-tuq-de-rool-aa-zee-zil-aa-lee-m
The splitter of the mornings and He made the night for peace And the sun and the moon for measuring time. This is the destiny determined by the Mightiest, the Most Knowing.

The unending source of light, heat and energy necessary for life and vegetation on earth)

- الۡقَمَرَ — Ul-Qa-ma-ra — The moon (= n., Physically an astronomical body that orbits Earth)
- حُسۡبَانًا — Hoos-baa-nun — For measuring (= adj., Lookout; picket; protector; sentinel; sentry; watch. In different context the word means defense, fortification, safeguard or shield. - الۡعَزِيۡزِ — Aa-zee-z … (il) — Mightiest (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him is The Revered, The Highest, The Most Exalted, Honored and Respected.
