The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                                006:116

 

وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدۡقًا وَّعَدۡلاً  ؕ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمٰتِهٖ‌ ۚ  وَهُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ

Wa-tum-mut-ka-lay-maa-to-rub-bay-ka                                                                                          Sid-qun-wa-ud-lun                                                                                                                                Laa-mo-bud-day-la-lay-ka-lay-maa-tay-he                                                                                Wa-ho-wus-sa-mee-ool-aa-lee-m

 

And completed are the words of your God                                                                         As the Truth and as the Justice.                                                                                                    There is no changer for His words.                                                                                      And He is the Most Hearing, the Most Knowing.

 

  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
  • تَمَّتۡ  — Tum-mut — Completed (= v., past., f., 3rd person. Apexed; climaxed; filled.  finished; reached par excellence; totaled. A/t/a, ‘has been accomplished,’ ‘has been fulfilled,’ ‘have been perfected,’  ‘Doth find its fulfilment’ and ‘perfected.’ But ‘shall be fulfilled’ in the future tense and ‘is bound to be fulfilled’ in the present tense are no translations of what the Holy Qor-aan has stated in the past tense)
  • كَلِمَتُ — Ka-lay-maa-to — Words (= n., pl., Affirmations; announcements; assignments; commands; declarations; inspirations; messages; phrases; prayers; promise; proofs. pronouncements; revelation; signs; statement. A/t/a, ‘words,’ ‘word’ and ’(prophetic) word’)
  • رَبِّ — Rub-bay — Lord Provident (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all His creatures. Cherisher. Creator;. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)  A/t/a, ‘Lord’)
  • كَ — Ka — Your (= pro., s., m., 2nd person. You. A/t/a, ’thy.’ See Note 002:005)
  • صِدۡقًا — Sid-qun — As the truth (= adv., In honesty, righteousness, sincerity or truthfulness. A/t/a, ‘in truth’ and ‘truly’)
  • وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • عَدۡلاً– Ud-lun — As the justice (= adv., Balance; equity; expiation; fairness; ransom. A/t/a, ‘justice’ and ‘justly’)
  • لَا — Laa — No (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception. A/t/a, ‘There is none who’)
  • مُبَدِّلَ  — Mo-bud-day-la — Changer (= n., The person who can alter, change, make difference; modify, or vary the direction in which things were previously moving. A/t/a, ‘can change’ and ‘are constant’)
  • لِ  — Lay — For (= For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; concerning; regarding; relative to)
  • كَلِمٰتِ — Ka-lay-maa-tay — Words (= n., pl., Commands; declarations. See كَلِمَتُ above. A/t/a, ‘words’)
  • هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the aforesaid person)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See  وَ   above)
  • هُوَ — Ho-wa … (us) — He (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. He; him; it. Refers to aforesaid shown, specified or stated article, thing or person)
  • ٱلسَّمِيعُ — Sa-mee-o..(l) — Most Hearing (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him hears the best. See 001:001. All-Hearing. The Most Hearing. The Hearer. Hears to the ultimate maximum. Hears wholly, entirely, surely, totally and truly. Real Hearer. The One from Whom nothing is ever missed or out of hearing. A/t/a, ‘the Hearer,’ ‘He hears,’ ‘the All-Hearer,’ ‘one Who Hearth’ and the All-Hearing’)
  • الۡعَلِيۡمُ — Aleem — The Most Knowing (= superlative form indicates the greatest, the highest, the most, and highlights that none more than Him knows. See 001:001. Informed to the maximum. The One with total knowledge and nothing out of sight. Knows all.  Most Knowledgeable. Well-Acquainted. Well-Aware. A/t/a, ‘the Knower,’ ‘the All-Knower,’ ‘the All-Knowing,’ ‘Who ‘knoweth all’ and ‘knows all’)
