The Holy Qor-aan 006:128
لَهُمۡ دَارُ السَّلٰمِ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمۡ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
La-hoom-dar-roos-sa-laa-may-in-da-rub-bay-him Wa-ho-wa-wa-lee-yo-hoom-bay-maa-kaa-noo-yau-ma-loo-n
For them is a home of peace with their Lord. And he is their Friend because of what they have been doing.
- لَ — La — For (= For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; on account of; concerning; regarding; relative to. ‘A/t/a, ‘there will be’ and ‘There awaits’)
- هُمۡ — Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. They; those; theirs)
- دَارُ — Daa-roo(s) — Home (= n., s., Abode. House. Place. Residence. A/t/a, ‘home,’ ‘shall dwell’ and ‘the home … (Paradise)’
- السَّلٰمِ — Sa-laa-may — Peace (= n., s., Tranquility)
- عِنۡدَ — In-da — From (= At; close at hand; from; in; in close proximity of; in the counting, esteem; estimate, eyes, front or near. Within the presence, precincts, seeing or sight of. A/t/a, ‘with’)
- رَبِّ — Rub-bay — God / Lord (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all His creatures. Cherisher. Creator;. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
- هِمۡ — Him — Their (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Those men; they; theirs)
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- هُوَ — Ho-wa — He (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. He; him; it. Refers to aforesaid shown, specified or stated article, thing or person. A/t/a, ‘He is,’ ‘He will be’ and ‘He will give’)
- وَلِيُّ — Wa-lee-yo — True friend (= n., s., Guardian; guide; helper; leader; patron; protector and protective friend. Sincere well-wisher who heeds one in need; supporter. The word also means an aide, assistant and henchman that won’t apply in reference to the Almighty God Friend. A/t/a, ‘protecting friend,’ ‘Wali (Helper and Protector),’ ‘guardian’ and ‘His protection in reward’)
- هُمۡ –Hoom — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Those men; they; theirs)
- بِمَا — Bay-maa — Because (= Combination of two words. بِ means ‘with / in’ and مَاۤ means ‘all that, whatever, whatsoever or whenever.’ The combination بِمَا (bay-maa) means ‘because of; on account of; for the reason; due to; with / in all that. A/t/a, ‘for’)
- كَانُوۡا — Kaa-noo — Have been (= v., past., pl., m., 3rd person., Continued doing; used to; went on; were doing. Words has or had always been indicate endless continuity from the past to the present and leading into the future. A/t/a, ‘they were’ and ‘they used’)
- يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ — Yau-ma-loo-n — They doing (= v., pres., pl., 3rd person. This word includes doing the same thing again and again continually. Also, act, do, execute, exercise, implement, operate, perform, practice or work. See Note 002:075b. A/t/a ‘what they do,’ ‘to do’ and ‘doing.’ But neither the past tense in ‘what they did,’ ‘that which they did’ and ‘They practiced (righteousness),’ nor the nouns in ‘their (righteous) deeds’ and ‘their works’ are the translations of the verb in the present tense that the Holy Qor-aan has used)
