The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                        006:132

ذٰ لِكَ اَنۡ لَّمۡ يَكُنۡ رَّبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ الۡقُرٰى بِظُلۡمٍ وَّاَهۡلُهَا غٰفِلُوۡنَ

‏

Zaa-lay-ka  un  um  ya-koon  rub-bo  koom                                                                                    Moh-lay-kool  qo-raa  bay  zool-min                                                                                                  Wa  ah-lo  haa  ghaa-fay-loo-n

This is so that it will never be that                                                                                Your GOD is the destroyer of towns wrongly                                                                  And their people are unaware.

• ذٰلِكَ — Zaa-lay-ka — This is (= Here; refers to an aforesaid fact, person or statement; it’s because; right here; such is this; that is how it is. A/t/a, ‘Messengers are sent,’ ‘(The apostles were sent),’ ‘This (sending of the Messengers) is,’ ‘This is’ and ‘That is’)
• اَنۡ — Un — That (= A/t/a, ‘because’ and ‘thus’)
• لَمۡ — Lum — Not (= Absolutely never; no, not at all. A/t/a, ‘would not’)
• يَكُنۡ — Ya-koon — Will be / Has been (= v., pret., s., 3^rd person., Continued doing. Happen. Occur. A/t/a, ‘would’ and ‘will’)
• رَبَّ —  Rub-bo — GOD  (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all His creatures. Cherisher. Creator;. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist)
• كَ — Ka — You (= pro., s., m., 2^nd person. You. See Note 002:005. A/t/a, ‘thy’)
• مُهۡلِكَ  — Moh-lay-ko … (ol) — Destroyer (= n., s., Killer. One who ends or finishes. A/t/a, ‘would … destroy,’ ‘destroy,’ ‘destroys’ and ‘destroyeth’)
• الۡقُرٰى — Qo-raa — Towns (= n., pl., Cities; dwellings; hamlets; townships; villages. A/t/a, ‘towns,’ ‘township,’ ‘men’s habitations,’ ‘a nation’ and ‘the (population of) towns’)
• بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with. A/t/a, ‘for’)
• ظُلۡمٍ — Zool-min … (w) — Wrongly (= A noun with the prior بِ turned into an adv. Cruelly; unjustly; wrongfully. A/t/a, ‘arbitrarily,’ ‘unjustly,’ ‘without just cause,’ ‘wrongdoing’ and ‘wrongdoing (i.e. associating others in worship along with Allah)’
• وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet A/t/a, ‘while’ and ‘whilst’)
• اَهۡلُ — Ah-lo — People (= Citizens; dwellers; families; inhabitants; natives; occupants; people; population; residents)
• هَا — Haa — Their (= pro., s., f., 3^rd person., Refers to aforesaid group. A/t/a, ‘their’)
• غٰفِلُوۡنَ– Ghaa-fay-loo-n – Unaware (= n., pl. Careless. Ignorant. Unaware. A/t/a, ‘have not been warned,’ ‘were unaware (so the Messengers were sent),’ ‘were heedless,’ ‘were unwarned,’ ‘are unwarned,’ ‘are negligent,’ ‘are unconscious (of the wrong they do)’ and ‘due warning’)
