The Holy Qor-aan 006:150
قُلۡ فَلِلّٰهِ الۡحُجَّةُ الۡبَالِغَةُ ۚ فَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَهَدٰٮكُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ
Qool fa lay il-laa-hay il-hooj-ja-to ol-baa-lay-gha-to Fa lao shaa-aa la ha-daa koom uj-ma-een
Say, “Finally the fullness of argument is for Allah.” So, if He chose, He surely would have guided you all.”
- قُلۡ — Qool — Say (= v., pres., s, 2nd person. Announce, broadcast; call; command; convey; declare; elaborate; explain; inform; insist; instruct; maintain, mandate; order; persist; preach; proclaim; profess; propagate; specify; state; teach, tell; tutor. - فَ — Fa — Finally (= After all this; at the end; consequently; finally; hence; in conclusion so; thereafter; therefore; then; thus; yet)
- لِ — Lay … (il) — For (= Belongs to. For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; on account of; concerning; regarding; relative to. A/t/a, ‘with’ and ‘to’)
- اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay … (il) — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God. A/t/a, ‘Allah’s’)
- الۡحُجَّةُ — Hooj-ja-to … (ol) — Argument (= n., Excuse; proof; reason. A/t/a, ‘authority,’ ‘proof’ and ‘argument (the Oneness of Allah, the sending of His messengers and His Holy Books, to mankind’)
- الۡبَالِغَةُ — Baa-la-gha-to — Fullness (= n., f/g., Complete. End. Exhaustive. Final. Fully developed like an adult. Total. A/t/a, ‘conclusive,’ ‘that reaches home,’ ‘that carries conviction,’ ‘conclusive’ and ‘perfect proof’)
- فَ — Fa — So (= Consequently; so; thus; therefore. See فَ above)
- لَوۡ — Lao — If (= In case; under the circumstances; wish; would. A/t/a, ‘had He’)
- شَآءَ — Shaa-as — He chose (= v., past., s., 3rd person. Allowed; approved; chose; decided; decreed; designed; determined; dictated; elected; enforced; liked; permitted; planned; pleased, preferred; selected; sanctioned; willed. The meanings ‘desired, wanted, willed or wished’ do not apply relative to the Almighty God Who has all control, power and will to implement instantly what He intends. A/t/a, ‘enforced His will,’ ‘(enforced) His will’ and ‘so willed’)
- لَ — La — Certainly (= Absolutely; assuredly; categorically; clearly, definitely doubtlessly; earnestly; indeed; positively; really; surely; truly; verily)
- هَدٰى — Ha-daa — Guided (= v., past., m., s. 3rd person. Coddled on correct course; directed accurately towards the best way; gave the best direction; guided to and led on the linier lines; put on the proper path; showed the right road. A/t/a, ‘He would have guided,‘ ‘He would have … guided,’ ‘He could … have guided’ and ‘guided’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You all men. The Holy Qor-aan generally addresses this way men and women jointly)
- اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ — Uj-ma-een — All (= All together; altogether; all of them; combined)
