Note 006:153. The word  وَصّٰى  is in the past tense and shows that the Almighty God has already done this Act. The word  تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ  is in the present tense and shows that the Almighty God has established this for the human beings as a Rule of Universal Application that will come into play again and again, for all times to come. Prior act in the past tense and the lasting rule in the present tense have used the highest form of accuracy in this Divine Rule. Any translation that fails to convey this exact accuracy is a mistranslation, to say the least.
