ثُمَّ اٰتَيۡنَا مُوۡسَى الۡـكِتٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى الَّذِىۡۤ اَحۡسَنَ وَتَفۡصِيۡلاً لِّـكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّهُدًى وَرَحۡمَةً لَّعَلَّهُمۡ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ

Thoom-ma  aa-tai  naa  moo-saa  ul-kay-taa-ba                                                                          Ta-maa-mun  aa-lul  la-zee  ah-sa-na                                                                                                Wa  tuf-ee-lun  lay  kool-lay  sha-in                                                                                                Wa  ho-dun  wa  rah-ma-ton                                                                                                            La-ul-la  hoom bay  lay-qaa-aiy  rub-bay  hoom  yoe-may-noo-n

Then We gave Moses the Book,                                                                                              As a finished product by Him Who beautified it,                                                              And as an explanation for everything,                                                                            And Guidance and Mercy,                                                                                                          So that they (his followers) may believe in meeting their GOD.

• ثُمَّ — Thoom-ma — Then (= After that; further more; subsequently; thereafter. A/t/a, ‘Again,’ ‘And behold’  and ‘Moreover’)
• اٰتَيۡ — Aa-taiy — Gave (= v., past., m.., 2^nd person. Awarded. Bestowed. Granted.               Handed down. Laid down. Mandated. Presented. For other meanings of the word. See  verse 002:178)
• نَآ — Naa —  We (= pro., pl., 1^st person. Our. Us. Ref is to God Almighty)
• مُوۡسَى — Moo-sa … (ul) — Moses (= One of the  Prophets. A/t/a, ‘Musa (moses)’
• الۡـكِتٰبَ — Ul-kay-taa-ba — The Book (= n., The Divine Directive of Commands, Prohibitions and Regulations. Holy Scripture. See verse 002:003). A/t/a, ‘Scripture’ and ‘the Book [the Taurat (Torah)]’
• تَمَامًا — Ta-maa-mun — Finished product (= adj. A step that completes, concludes, ends, finalizes, finishes or perfects a thing. A/t/a, ‘completing the favour upon him,’  ‘complete,’ and ‘perfect code for the righteous.’ But the verb in ‘to complete (our blessings),’ ‘to complete Our favour,’ ‘to complete (Our favours)’ and ‘to complete (Our favour)’ is no good translation of the adj., that the Holy Qor-aan has used)
• عَلٰى — Aa-laa … (ul) — On (= Above; against; before; during; for; on; on  top of; over; to; unto; upon)
• الَّذِىۡ — La-zee — He who (= s., m., 3^rd person. Article, thing, person or phenomenon in masculine gender. A/t/a, ‘him who,’ ‘those who’  and ‘for his’)
• اَحۡسَنَ — Ah-sa-na — Beautified (= v., past., s., 3^rd person. Gave most appropriate; Made the best and prettiest. Rendered the tops in looks and use. A/t/a, ‘did good,’ ‘did good to others and is righteous,’ ‘would do good,’ ‘would pursue’ and ‘would do right,’ But the noun in ‘righteousness’ has not translated the verb that the Holy Qor-aan has used)
• وَ  — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally;  but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
• تَفۡصِيۡلاً — Tuf-see-lun — Explanation (= adj., Clarification; detailed; elucidation; enlightenment. A/t/a, ‘making plain,’ ‘explaining,’ ‘to explain everything worth explaining,’ ‘explaining … in detail,’ ‘explaining … in detail (in it the lawful and the forbidden’ and ‘with percepts’)
• لِ —  Lay — For (= For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; on account of; concerning; regarding; relative to. A/t/a, ‘for’ and ‘about’)
• كُلِّ — Kool-lay –All / Every — Also, entirely; totally; wholly. exceedingly; greatly;  highly; wholly)
• شَىۡءٍ  — Shai-in — Thing (= Anything. More at 003:155. A/t/a, ’necessary things,’  ‘things needed,’ ‘things’ and ‘everything’)
• وَّ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
• هُدًى — Ho-done — As a Guidance (= n., The action, direction, instruction, means or set up to show the best beacon, correct course, enlightened entry, linear lines, proper path, right road, wise ways or the knowledge about what is most appropriate)
• وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
• رَحۡمَة  — Rah-ma — As a Mercy (= n., Beneficence. Clemency. Compassion. Condoning. Forgiveness.  Intercession.  Intervention.  Kindness. Leniency. Omitting, relenting or waiving punishment. A/t/a, ‘blessing’)
• لَعَلَّ — La-ul-la — So that (= Haply; hopefully; perchance; perhaps; possibly; hope and wish; maybe; wanting and wishing the result to be. A/t/a, ‘so that … might,’ ‘might’ and ‘may’)
• هُمۡ‌ — Hoom — They (= pro., pl., m., 3^rd person. Those men; they; theirs. A/t/a,  ‘his people’ and ‘the people’)
• بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with. A/t/a, ‘with’ and ‘in’)
• لِقَآءِ — Lay-qaa-aiy — Meeting (= n., Coming face to face; getting together; visiting. A/t/a, ‘encounter’ and ‘ultimate  meeting.’  But ‘that they will meet’ is not a translation of the word لِقَآءَ)
• رَبِّ — Rub-bay — GOD / LORD (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all creatures. Cherisher. Creator. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist. See verse 001:002)
• هِمۡ — Him — Them (= pro., pl., m., 3^rd person. Those men; they; theirs)
• يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ —  Yoe-may-noo-na — They Believe (= v., pres., pl., 3^rd person. Enter faith; follow the Holy Qor-aan and are Moslems. See Commentary Believe and Disbelieve. A/t/a, they … believe,’ ‘they might believe in’ and ‘believe’)
