The Holy Qor-aan                                                                                                        006:163

 

قُلۡ اِنَّ صَلَاتِىۡ وَنُسُكِىۡ وَ مَحۡيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِىۡ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ‏ 

 

Qool-in-na-sa-laa-tee-wa-no-so-kee-wa-mah-ya-ya                                                                  Wa-ma-maa-tee-lil-laa-hay-rub-bil-aa-la-mee-n

 

 Say, “Surely my prayers and my worship and my life                                              And my death for Allah, the Lord Provider to the Universe.

 

  • قُلۡ — Qool — You say (= v., pres., s., 2nd person. Announce; call; convey; deliver;   elaborate; explain; expound; inform; instruct; proclaim; profess; state; specify; tell. See Commentary ‘You Say’  means ,,, A/t/a, ‘Say (O Muhammad s.a.w)’
  • اِنَّ — In-na — Surely (= Absolutely; certainly; clearly, decidedly; definitely; indeed; positively; really; surely; truly;  verily)
  • صَلَاتِ — Sua-laa-t(ee) — Prayer (= The Commandment for the Moslems to pray Five times Daily. Abjectly and earnestly beseeching, requesting or supplicating in worshiping.   • ىَ — Ya — My (= pro., s., 1st person., I; me; my)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
  • نُسُكِ — No-so-k(ee) — Worship (= Acts of worships effective to get the best results. The  appropriate, proper and suitable methods, strategies, techniques or ways, to express devotion in worship like the rites and religious ceremonies prescribed for the pilgrimage to Mecca to perform the Hujj. A/t/a, ‘my service of sacrifice,’ ‘sacrifice,’ ‘sacrifices, which entail a type of death upon me,’ ‘devotion’ and ‘devotions’)
  • ىَ — Ya — My (= pro., s., 1st person., I; me; my)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • مَحۡيَا — Mauh-yaa — Life (= n., The state of being alive and breathing. A/t/a, ‘living’)
  • ىَ — Ya — My (= pro., s., 1st person., I; me; my)
  • وَ —  Wa — And (= Conj., links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above) )
  • مَمَاتِ — Ma-maa-t(ee) — Death (= n., End of life. A/ta, ‘dying’  and ‘dying are (all)’
  • ىَ — Ya — My (= pro., s., 1st person., I; me; my)
  • لِلۡ — L…(il) — For (= Belongs to. A/t/a, ‘are surely for,’ ‘are all for,’ ‘are for’ and ‘for the sake of’)
  • اللّٰهِ — Laa-hay — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • رَبِّ — Rub-b..(il) — Lord Provident (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all creatures. Cherisher. Creator. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist. A/t/a, ‘Lord”)
  • الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ‏ — Aa-la-meen — The Universe (= n., pl., As an attribute of God Almighty the word implies no limits. It means the Universe, all His creations, all that exists in whole Universe, all that has life, and Mankind.  See Note 001:002. A/t/a, ‘worlds,’ ‘of the Creation’ and ‘Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)’
