The Holy Qor-aan 007:030
قُلۡ اَمَرَ رَبِّىۡ بِالۡقِسۡطِ وَاَقِيۡمُوۡا وُجُوۡهَكُمۡ عِنۡدَ كُلِّ مَسۡجِدٍ وَّادۡعُوۡهُ مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ لَـهُ الدِّيۡنَ ؕ كَمَا بَدَاَكُمۡ تَعُوۡدُوۡنَؕ
Qool aa-ma-ra rub-bee bay il-qis-tay Wa aa-qee-moo wo-joo-ha koom in-da kool-lay maus-jay-din Wa aud-oo ho mookh-lay-see-na la ho od-dee-na Ka-maa ba-da-aa koom ta-oo-do-na
Say, “My God has commanded to be with fairness And that you fix your attention near every place to worship And you pray to Him and keep the religion exclusively for Him. Like He began you, you will return.”
- قُلۡ — Qool — Say (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Announce; broadcast; call; convey; declare; inform; state; tell. See 002:031. A/t/a, ‘Tell them’ and ‘Say (O Muhammad, s.a.w)’
- اَمَرَ — Aa-ma-ra — Commanded (= v., past., s., m., 3rd person. Decreed; dictated; directed; instructed; laid down; mandated; ordained; ordered; taught. See Note 002:211. A/t/a, ‘ordered you,’ ‘has enjoined’ and ‘ordained.’ But ‘enjoins’ and enjoineth’ in the present tense has not translated the past tense used in the Holy Qor-aan)
- بِ — Bay … (il) — With (= Literally the word بِ means with. A/t/a, ‘to be’)
- الۡقِسۡطِ — Qis-tay — Fairness (= n., Balanced view; equity; justice. When joined with the previous word بِ the word becomes an adv and means correctly, equitably, fairly, fully; honestly, justly or properly. A/t/a, ‘justice,’ ‘justice and righteousness’ and ‘equitable. But ‘act justly’ in a verb has not translated the noun that the Holy Qor-aan has used
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- اَقِيۡمُوۡا — Aa-qee-moo … (s) — You fix (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Set. Attend to. Be steadfast. Comply fully with all dictates of all prayers. Establish. Perform properly. Observe regularly. See Note 002:044. A/t/a, ‘see upright,’ ‘fix aright,’ ‘fix … aright,’ ‘you fix … aright,’ ‘ye set,’ ‘set … upright (towards Him),’ ‘to keep … upright,’ ‘be steadfast,’ ‘turn to Him’ and ‘face Him only (i.e. worship none but Allah and face the Qiblah, i.e., the Ka’bah at Makkah during prayers)’
- وُجُوۡهَ — Wo-joo-ha — Attention (= n., pl., Faces. The front top of the body of a person that is a tell-tale of what is behind that face and in the mind of the person. A/t/a, ‘faces,’ ‘whole selves (to Him )’ and ‘worships’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — Your (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. The Holy Qor-aan has often used this word for both men and women jointly)

- مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ — Mookh-lay-se-na — Exclusively (= adv., Specially Only. Wholly. Limited or restricted.
