اَهٰٓؤُلَۤاءِ الَّذِيۡنَ اَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِرَحۡمَةٍ ‌ؕ اُدۡخُلُوا الۡجَـنَّةَ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُوۡنَ 

 

Aa  haa-o-laa-aiy  il-la-ze-na  auq-saum  toom                                                                            Laa  ya-naa-lo  ho-mo  ol-laa-ho  bay  rauh-ma-tin  ood-kho-lo ol-jaun-na-ta                      Laa  khao-foon  aa-lai-koom  wa  laa  aun-toom  tauh-za-noon

 

Are these those that you swore                                                                                              Allah will reach them with His Mercy. Now you enter Paradise.                          No fear upon you. And you do not grieve.

 

  • اَ — Aa — Are (= Word asking a question like are, can, could, do, did, have; had, shell, should, will, would, what, etc. A/t/a, ‘Behold! Are,’ ‘Are’ and ‘Pointing to the inmates of heaven they will ask, Are’)
  • هٰٓؤُلَآءِ — Haa-o-laa-aiy — Here (= pl., All these. Refers to the aforesaid. A/t/a, ‘these,’ ‘these the people,’ ‘these (owners of Paradise,)’ and  ‘these they’)
  • ٱلَّذِينَ — Al-la-zee-na — Those who (= pl., m, 3rd person. Refers to those articles, persons, or phenomenon or things in masculine gender. A/t/a, ‘the men,’ ‘about whom,’ ‘the men about whom,’ ‘they about whom,’ ‘the ones about whom,’ ‘they those of whom’ and ‘the ones whom’)
  • اَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ — Auq-saum-toom —  You swore (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. You declared a solemn affirmation. You stated on oath. See 001:007 how the main operative part of this verb is converted from that for a 3rd person to that for a 2nd person. A/t/a, ‘ye swore’)
  • لَا — Laa — No (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all, absolute denial and total negation without exception)
  • يَنَالُ — Ya-naa-lo — Reaches (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Applies; arrives; covers; embraces; extends to; fills; includes. A/t/a, ‘will … extend,’ ‘would … bless,’ ‘would … bestow,’ ‘would … extend,’ ‘show,’ ‘would … show’ and ‘would … earn’)
  • هُمُ — Ho-mo … (ol) — Them  (= pro., pl., m., 3rd person. Those men; they. A/t/a, ‘to them’)
  • اللّٰهُ — Laa-ho — Allah (= The One and the Only One Almighty God)
  • بِ — Bay — With (= Literally the word بِ  means with)
  • رَحۡمَةٍ  — Rauh-ma-tin — As a Mercy (= n., Beneficence. Clemency. Compassion. Condoning. Forgiveness.  Intercession.  Intervention.  Kindness. Leniency. Omitting, relenting or waiving punishment)
  • ادۡخُلُوۡا — Ood-kho-loo — Enter (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Come in; go in; move or walk   in; proceed to. A/t/a, ‘Enter ye,’ ‘Enter,’m‘To them it has been said, “Enter,’ ‘Allah will say to the people of heaven, Enter,’ ‘To them God will say,’ (Allah has ordered them) Enter,’ ‘(Behold! It has been said to them) Enter,’ ‘They have been admitted and it has been said to them,’ ‘(Unto them it has been said): Enter’ and ’Again turning to the blessed they shall say, dwell’)
  • الۡجَـنَّةَ — Jaun-na-tay — The Paradise (= n., s., Big grove; Coppice. Thicket. Garden of  ultimate and everlasting beauty and greenery. See Phrase O-laa-aiy-ka  aus-haa-bo  ol-jaun-nah …)

                See Phrase Laa-khao-foon aa-lai-him …  meaning No Fear Upon Them …                which states in 3rd person the same following words in the 2nd person.

  • لَا — Laa –No (= Absolute denial; never; not at all; total negation)
  • خَوۡفٌ — Khao-foon — Fear (= n., The state of being afraid, frightened or scared with or without any reason, perils or perilous condition).  A/t/a, ‘fear shall come’ and ‘shall be … fear’)
  • عَلَيۡ — Alai — On (= Above; against; for; on top of; over; to; upon. A/t/a, ‘shall remain on’)
  • كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. The Holy Qor-aan has often used this word for both men   and women jointly)
  • وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses. See وَ  above)
  • لَا — Laa — No, not (= Absolute denial; never; not at all; total negation. A/t/a, ‘nor shall,’ ‘nor ever shall,’ ‘neither’ and ‘nor is it’)
  • اَنۡـتُمۡ — Aun-toom — Surely you (= pro., pl., 2nd person. This is a combination of  اِنۡ  (Un)   that means absolutely, clearly, really, surely, truly or verily and  تُمۡ  (toom) that is for the pronoun you. A/t/a, ‘ye,’ ‘you’ and ‘shall you’)
  • تَحۡزَنُوۡنَ — Tauh-za-noo-n — You grieve (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Experience or put to grief or regret. Feel sorrow, worry or what evokes regret, remorse or remorseful situation. A/t/a, ‘to regret.’ But the future tense as in ‘who will grieve’ has not translated the Text of the Holy Qor-aan in the present tense)
