The Holy Qor-aan 007:056
اُدۡعُوۡا رَبَّكُمۡ تَضَرُّعًا وَّخُفۡيَةً ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الۡمُعۡتَدِيۡنَ
Ood-oo raub-ba koom ta-dzar-ro-aun wa khoof-ya-taun In-na hoo laa yo-hib-bo ol-moe-ta-dee-n
Pray to your God abjectly and secretly He surely does not love the transgressors.
- اُدۡعُوۡا — Ood-oo — You all pray (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. In re God, you … ask, beg, beseech, call, invoke, pray, request, seek and worship. - رَبَّ — Raub-ba — GOD / LORD (= The Almighty Allah who fills all needs of all creatures. Cherisher. Creator. Guardian. Lord Provident. Master. The Only One Who provides all that sustains life. Ultimate Provider of air, water, food and whatever we and all other creatures need to live and subsist. See 001:002)
- كُمۡ — Koom — Your (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. The Holy Qor-aan has often used this word for both men and women jointly)
- تَضَرُّعًا — Ta-dzar-ro-aun — Abjectly (= adv., Abjectly, humbly or seriously praying; begging; beseeching; requesting. A/t/a, ‘in humility,’ ‘in humble entreaty,’ ‘humbly’ and ‘with humility’)

- لَا — Laa — Not (= Naught; neither; never; none; nor; not at all; absolute denial and total negation without exception)
- يُحِبُّ — Yo-hib-bo … (ol) — Loves (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. As God’s action … admires,
