The Holy Qor-aan 007:058
وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُرۡسِلُ الرِّيٰحَ بُشۡرًۢا بَيۡنَ يَدَىۡ رَحۡمَتِهٖ ؕ حَتّٰۤى اِذَاۤ اَقَلَّتۡ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقۡنٰهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَاَنۡزَلۡنَا بِهِ الۡمَآءَ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهٖ مِنۡ كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِؕ كَذٰلِكَ نُخۡرِجُ الۡمَوۡتٰى لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ
Wa ho-wa ul-la-ze yoor-say-lo re-yaa-ha Boosh-raun bai-na ya-dai rah-ma-tay he
Hau-taa aiy-zaa aa-qaul-laut sa-haa-baun thay-qaa-laun Sooq-naa ho lay ba-la-din mauy-yay-tin Fa aun-zaul naa bay he il-maa-aa Fa aukh-rauj naa bay he min kool-lay ith-tha-maa-raa-t
Ka-zaa-lay-ka nookh-ray-jo ol-mao-taa La-aul-la koom ta-zauk-ka-roo-n
And it is He who sends the Winds As the good news before His Mercy
Until when it became heavy as a cloud We made a drink of it by a dead land. So with that cloud We send down water. Then therewith We produced fruits of all kinds.
This is how We produce life in the dead That they may remember who their Creator is.
- وَ — Wa — And (= Conj., It links words, phrases or clauses; additionally; but; also; more over; though; when; while; yet)
- هُوَ — Ho-wa … (ul) — He (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. He; him. Ref is to the Almighty God. A/t/a, ‘He it is,’ ‘it is He’ and ‘God the One’)
- الَّذِىۡ –Aul-la-zee — He who (= s., m., 3rd person. Article, thing, person. A/t/a, ‘who’ and ‘Who’)
- يُرۡسِلُ — Yoor-say-lo — Sends (= v., pres., s., 3rd person. Casts; conveys; delivers; directs; dispatches; drives; forwards; inspires; lunches; posts; relays; remits. Sends off. A/t/a, ‘sends forth’ and ‘sendeth’)
- الرِّيٰحَ — Re-yaa-ha — The winds (= n., pl., Flows, gusts and streams of air. Storms. Winds. Whirlwinds. Windstorms)
- بُشۡرًۢا — Boosh-raun — Good news (= n., Glad tiding; happy news; message of good cheer, hope or victory. A happy, joyful, joyous or pleasant event, news, person, thing or tiding. A/t/a, ‘bearing good news,’ ‘as glad tidings,’ ‘as tidings heralding,’ ’as good tidings heralding,’ ‘like heralds of,’ ‘like heralds of glad tiding,’ ‘as heralds of glad tiding’ and ‘as harbinger of’)
- بَيۡنَ — Bai-na — Between (= Ahead, facing or in front of; Among; betwixt
- يَدَيۡ — Ya-dai — Hands (= The word بَيۡنَ means ‘Between or betwixt’ and يَدَيۡ means hands. Thus the whole phrase بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ means ahead its hands, facing or in front of it. A/t/a, ‘before,’ ‘in advance of,’ ‘of’ and ‘going before’)
- رَحۡمَتِ — Rah-ma-tay — Mercy (= n., Beneficence. Blessing. Clemency. Compassion. Condoning. Forgiveness. Intercession. Intervention. Kindness. Leniency. Omitting, relenting or waiving punishment. A/t/a, ‘Mercy (rain)’
- هٖ — He — His (= pro., s., m., 3rd person. Refers to the Almighty God)
- حَتّٰى — Haut-ta — Until (= By the end of the period or term; till the time. A/t/a, ‘till’)
- اِذَا — Aiy-zaa — When (= At the time or event; call to mind; recall; remember; think of the time, event, occasion or opportunity. Also, behold; consider; ponder over; reflect)
- اَقَلَّتۡ — Aa-qaul-laut — Became heavy (= v., past., pass., f/g., 3rd person. Became or turned bushy, compact, condensed, copious, impenetrable, short, thick. A/t/a, ‘they bear,’ ‘they have carried,’ ‘they (those winds) bear’ and ‘they have gathered’)
- سَحَابًا — Sa-aa-baun — As a cloud (= adv., The product resulting from the process wherein hot air rises, and carries steam from warm water up into the atmosphere and colder temperature condenses that into vapors and drops of water and falls as rain on earth and forms streams, lakes, rivers and oceans. A/t/a, ‘clouds, find them light’)
- ثِقَالًا — Thay-qa-laun — Very heavy (= adv., Weighing heavy. A/t/a, ‘heavy,’ ‘heavy (with rain),’ ‘heavy laden,’ ‘heavy-laden,’ ‘a laden’ and ‘a heavy’)
- سُقۡنٰ — Sooq-naa — We made a drink (= v., past., pl., 1st person. We made it drunk; gave the drink; irrigated. The verb in past tense for 3rd person is converted into that of 1st person as explained in the Note 001:007. A/t/a, Translations like ‘We drive,’ ‘We lead,’ ‘We drive (the clouds)’ and ‘He drives’ show failure to distinguish the text in the past tense from that in the present tense or act of a 1st person from that of a 3rd person)

- لِ — Lay — For (= For the object, person, purpose or reason of; intended for; meant for; concerning; regarding; relative to. A/t/a, ‘to’)
- بَلَدٍ — Ba-la-din — Land (= n., s., Area; city; country; countryside; land; territory; town)
- مَّيِّت — Muy-yay-tin — Dead (= adj., Deceased; decedent; lifeless; with no life. A/t/a, ‘some dead’)

- اَنۡزَلۡنَا — Aun-zaul-naa — We sent down (= v., past., pl., 1st person. Regarding rain … Brought it down; landed, lowered or sent down; delivered, gave, dispatched; provided, showered. The past tense verb for 3rd person is converted into that of 1st person as explained in the Note 001:007. - اَخۡرَجۡنَا — Aukh-rauj-naa — We produced (= v., past., pl., 1st person. Brought or grew forth, into or out. Developed. Grew. Produced. Took out. This word in a different context also means forced to depart, got expelled, exiled or kicked out. The past tense verb for 3rd person is converted into that of 1st person as explained in the Note 001:007. A/t/a, ‘We bring forth,’ ‘We … bring forth,’ ‘We bring forth (from the dead land),’ We produce,’ ‘We … produce’ and ‘bringing forth’ but all such works in the present tense are no translations of the past tense in the text of the Holy Qor-aan)

- كَذٰلِكِ — Ka-zaa-lay-ka — Like this (= Combines two words. كَ means example, like, identical resembling, similar. ذٰلِكَ means ‘this right in here’ and refers to an aforesaid event, fact, person or statement. The combination means ‘like this,’ ‘so it will be,’ ‘such is the way,’ ‘the same way,’ ‘that is how’ or ‘this way. A/t/a, ‘In like manner,’ ‘In this manner,’ ‘Thus,’ ‘That is how’ and ‘Similarly’)
- نُخۡرِجُ –Nookh-ray-joo … (ol) — We produce (= v., pres., pl., 1st person. Bring out; grow; produce; restore. A/t/a, ‘do We bring forth,’ ‘We bring forth,’ ‘bring We forth’ and ‘We raise up.’ But ‘We will bring forth’ and ‘We shall raise up’ in the future tense has not translated the present tense text of the Holy Qor-aan)
- الۡمَوۡتٰى — (Ol)-Mao-taa –The dead (= n. Those who have been dead and have no life)
- لَعَلَّ — La-aul-la — So that (= Haply; hopefully; perchance; perhaps; possibly; hope and wish; maybe; wanting and wishing the result to be. A/t/a, ‘that … may,’ ‘haply,’ ’so that … may,’ ‘perchance’ and ‘may’)
- كُمۡ — Koom — You (= pro., pl., 2nd person. You men. A/t/a, ‘ye’)
- تَذَكَّرُوۡنَ — Ta-zauk-ka-roo-n — Remember (= v., pres., pl., 2nd person. Follow directions. Have a regard. Keep in mind. Pay attention. Pay heed. Recall, Remember instruction, message or reminder. Stay admonished. Take heed. Take notice. Think hard. Think of.
